Bang Tao, Phuket - beach relaxation and tranquility

Bang Tao beach is one of the best beaches of Phuket Island in Thailand, which has fine soft sand, dense vegetation, and near the beach there are some of the best resort hotels on the island, which gives not only excellent service and relaxation, but also peace and tranquility.

The length of Bangtao Beach is more than 7 kilometers.

The beach has the shape of an elongated arc with a wide sandy coast, which, even in peak season, is not as crowded as on some other beaches in Phuket. Due to its length, the beach is great for both recreation and sports.

On both sides the beach is surrounded by green hills, and between these hills the beach is framed mainly by coniferous vegetation, which gives shade from the direct rays of the hot midday sun.

Tang Tao Beach is clean and sandy.

The sand on the beach is fine, white-golden in hue, but soft and pleasant to the touch, like powdered sugar. The sand has an interesting structure and creaks slightly underfoot. Not as much as on Karon Beach, but still, and contrary to popular belief, Karon is not the only beach with "singing sand". The same characteristic sound can be heard on Bang Tao Beach.

The entry into the water is quite gentle and smooth, the depth comes gradually, after 7-12 meters, depending on the place on the beach. The bottom is sandy and quite smooth.

There are often waves. The water in the sea is mostly clean and of a pleasant delicate color, but during large waves, garbage can wash up to the shore.

The most developed is the southern part of Bang Tao Beach.

There are cheap hotels, restaurants, coffee bars, beach clubs where you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as Thai massage parlors located right on the sand under canopies.

This southern part of Bang Tao Beach is more crowded and less clean than the center of the beach.

There is garbage on the beach, mostly of natural origin.

It is this part of Bangtao Beach that is perfect for a calm, measured rest and relaxation. There is a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere on the beach. You can sit or walk along the beach at the water's edge for an infinitely long time.

Near this part of the beach there are golf courses and a shopping area by the water "Canal Village Laguna Shopping" with shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, places for walking and events.

From beach and water activities on Bang Tao: banana and jet ski, beach volleyball, parachute flight over the sea surface, etc.

In the morning, the sun rises from the side of a strip of green trees growing along Bang Tao Beach, which gives a good shade for almost the entire beach strip. It is at this time that many people prefer to run and walk along the beach. In the afternoon, when the sun goes over the sea line, the shade from the trees becomes less.

Also, the advantage of Bangtao Beach is that there is no road running along the beach, so the beach looks even more calm and secluded.

Bang Tao beach is well suited not only for recreation, it is preferred by winterers. Here you can find apartments, as well as luxury villas and small bungalows. It should be noted that inexpensive housing is not located on the first line.

Near Bang Tao beach there are several large, by the standards of Phuket, carriageways.

The road on which public transport runs from Phuket Town is located about one and a half kilometers from the southern part of the beach. Near the road there are a supermarket, McDonald's, a night market, cafes and small shops.

The streets in the southern part of Bang Tao are not wide, there is not much transport, besides they are quite quiet and clean. Here you can see exactly the Phuket where the locals lead their daily lives, without an abundance of cafes and restaurants, as well as the hustle and bustle of nightlife.

There are accommodation facilities, cafes, small supermarkets, shops and retail shops, massage and tattoo parlors, as well as exchangers, makashnits, tour desks and taxi stands.
