The beach of Palmanova or Cala Blanca (Playa Palmanova / Platja de Palmanova) is one of the beaches of Palma Nova, located in the municipality of Calvia in the southwestern part of the island of Majorca, in 14 km from the centre of island's capital, Palma.
The Palma Nova beach is the Central beach of Palmanova. It is located in the heart of Palmanova Bay, where anchor small yachts and boats, between Cape de Marroig (Punta des Marroig), beyond which is the beach of Es Carregador (Playa Es Carregador) and Cape Nadal (Punta Nadala) separating the Palmanova beach from another beach, Palma Nova beach Son Maties (Playa Son Maties).
Currently, the beach of Palmanova, along with other nearby beaches, is the most popular and frequented beach of the island of Mallorca.
The bulk of the tourism infrastructure of the city of Palmanova is located near the beach.
The beach has been awarded the "Blue flag".
Length Palmanova beach is approximately 700 meters, and its average width is 60 meters.
