Cancun International Airport is located 17.6 kilometers from downtown Cancun (bus station), 56 kilometers from the center of Playa del Carmen (bus station) and 118 kilometers from the center of Tulum (bus station).

How to get from Cancun Airport to the city center and hotel area of Cancun, to Playa del Carmen and Tulum
To get from the airport to the cities, as well as from the cities to the airport, you can:
- by taxi and minibus;

Taxi / mini buses
The fastest and most convenient way to get from the airport to the resorts is by taxi. In addition to taxis for up to 4 people, you can also order mini buses for up to 7-19 people.
In addition, a taxi is the only mode of transport by which you can get from (to) the airport at night. Public buses do not run at night.

Car

The buses
From public transport - ADO campaign buses. The buses are comfortable, with air conditioning and sockets.
Buses are red with a white inscription "ADO aeropuerto"; stop at each terminal of Cancun Airport (T2, T3, T4); run to bus stations in Cancun (Central Bus Terminal - ADO terminal), Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

The travel time to Cancun Bus Station is 25-30 minutes. Buses run from about 07:50 in the morning until one o'clock in the morning. During the daytime, buses run every 20-30 minutes.
The travel time to Playa del Carmen is from 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes (depending on the departure terminal). Buses run from about 07:35 in the morning to 22:35 hours. During the daytime, buses run every 25-35 minutes.
The travel time to Tulum is from 2 hours 10 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes (depending on the departure terminal). Buses run from about 10:10 am to 20:35 pm. The movement interval is from 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours 05 minutes.

If there is a need to travel further from bus stations in cities, then you can get there by taxi or city (local) public buses.
To get to the Hotel zone of Cancun (Zona Hotelera), from the ADO bus terminal you need to go to Tulum-Cancun Avenue and take the R1 or R2 bus, which runs around the clock along the entire hotel zone of Cancun. The fare is 12 pesos per person.

Shuttle basses (Shared Shuttle)
Joint shuttle buses take guests from the airport to cities and hotel areas (hotels), as well as back.
