On another sunny summer weekend, we again made a small hiking trip - this time a walking trip along the Baltic Sea coast of the Curonian Spit of the Kaliningrad region: from Zelenogradsk to the village of Lesnoy.
You can walk all the way along the sea line. On the one hand - the endless sea, on the other-the lush vegetation of the Curonian Spit.
All this saturates with energy, relaxes and gives a lot of impressions. At the end of the journey, you feel a pleasant fatigue in your body, and in your soul you become refreshed and rested.
Passage along the coast to the Curonian Spit is free (free of charge). Whereas on the carriageway by car or on foot through the checkpoint-paid.
The coastal strip along the route is mainly wide sandy, sometimes sandy-pebbly and with large pebbles.
On warm summer days, a walk can be combined with sunbathing and swimming in the sea waters. You can swim on this section of the Curonian Spit (as well as mainly on the entire spit) in any place you like.
The approximate length of the route is 10.7 kilometers. This is without walking around Zelenogradsk and Lesnoye, as well as visits to the route "Royal Bor".
On hot summer days, for such hiking routes, we advise you to wear a headdress, bring clean drinking water and fruit for a snack, and apply sunscreen to the exposed areas of the body. It is best to throw on (or take with you) a light loose shirt or jacket, as well as wear comfortable summer pants (shorts and a swimsuit can be taken with you). !!! All this is by personal desire.
The route starts from the eastern end of the Zelenogradsk promenade. There is a water entertainment point and a beach for people with disabilities. Learn more about the beaches and the promenade in Zelenogradsk…
