Sant Agusti is a small residential and tourist area belonging to a larger area - the administrative zone of Ponent, which is part of the city of Palma and is the western outskirts of Palma relative to the coast.
From the South-West of the coast of Sant Agustí is bordered by residential and touristic area in Cas Catala, located in the municipality of Calvia, and from the East with the area of Cala Mayor (Cala Major), which, as well as the district of Sant Agustí, in the municipality of Palma de Mallorca.
Distance from the historic centre of Palma to Sant Agustí is 6.5 kilometers.
The coast of Sant Agustí, stretching somewhere in the 800 metres along the line of the sea is characterized by a rocky coastline with small sandy and pebbly and sandy coves and the presence of the port the Marina of Cala Nova.

Invisible border between the districts of Sant Agustí and Cala Major is near the Western end of the sandy Cala Major beach (Platja Cala Major), belonging to the area of Cala Major.

Further up the coast of Sant Agustí is the Bay of Cala Giks (Cala Guix) where it is mainly rocky and steep low shores alternate with small more shallow and stony parts of the shore.
The rocky Bay Cala Major is its namesake beach, though, and for the most part, is belogorodsky place suitable for bathing.
In the Bay a gently sloping rocky coast, there are concrete platforms, interspersed with small areas of coast of a large gray sand, mixed with stones and pebbles. There are several descents to the sea water, there is an urn.
Sea water is clean, the bottom stones, pebbles, rock formations and coarse sand.
The length of the beach Cliffs of Cala Mayor is about 150 metres with an average width of 30 meters.
The attendance rate of this coastal strip is low. Rescue service here is intermittent, because combined with the adjacent beach of Cala Major.

Accesses to the beach "the Cliffs of Cala Major" is possible with Avenida de Joan Miro (Avinguda de Joan Miro).
Further down the coast is the Cala Nova beach (Playa Cala Nova), which is separated from the beach "the Cliffs of Cala Major" little rocky and fairly shallow natural Cape.
The beach is near the Eastern edge of the eponymous pier.
The Bay of Cala Nova has a small area for relaxing and sunbathing, with Golden sand and rocky formations.
Sea water is clean, the bottom is mostly sandy sea bottom there are rock formations and stones. Depth comes rather abruptly.
The beach has rubbish bins, and grow tall pine trees that provide good shade in hot summer days.
The level of attendance of the beach is low. The main visitors are residents of nearby neighborhoods.
The beach is about 50 meters, and its average width is equal to 10-20 meters.

Behind the beach of Cala Nova is located in the same port Marina (Marina) Calanova or Cala Nova (Port de Cala Nova Port Calanova), opened in August 1976 by His Majesty the King of Spain.
In this place ends the territory of the municipality of Palma and begins the municipality of Calvia.
The port of Cala Nova takes passing small yachts and boats, if there is free space. The berths have a length of 25 meters, a Marina with capacity for 40 boats up to 11 meters and 5 tons. Along the coastline of Sant Agustí, do not pass embankments. The coast is separated from the road by houses and tourist agencies, approaching to the shore.
Behind the buildings is the road surface of Avenida de Joan miró (MA-1C), along with sidewalks, there are bus stops, cafes, restaurants and shops, including an Eroski supermarket.
In front of the port and the beach of Cala Nova is located a shaded children's Playground (Parque Infantil Joan Miro 342).

- shopping centre of Porto PI (Porto Pi Centro Comercial) located in the same area Porthope;
- following a pedestrian promenade, the Paseo Maritimo, you can walk or drive to the historic city centre of Palma with its many attractions;

- Genoa caves (Cuevas de Genova), located in the same residential area of Palma, accidentally discovered during the construction of wells in 1906 and forming underground galleries calcareous origin, connected natural corridors.
