Portals nous - a residential and resort city (coastal city), located in the municipality of Calvia in the southwestern part of the island of Mallorca, 11 kilometres from the centre of island's capital, Palma.
On the West side of the coast, Portals nous is bordered by the lower part of Costa den Blanes (Costa d'en Blanes), and from the East with the district of Bendinat (Bendinat).

Beach S'Oratori (Playa S'Oratori)
Beach S'Oratori, also known as the beach of Portals nous (Platja S'Oratori / Platja de Portals Nous) is the main and Central beach of Portals nous, located in the Bay anchor small yachts and boats between the Marina of Puerto Portals and the Bay of Cala Portals nous.
The beach is about 200 meters and its average width is 30-50 meters.
On the beach of bright sand, stones and rock formations on the beach and in the sea water. Sea water is clean, the slope in a shallow sea, the depth comes rather abruptly.

The Cove Of Portals Nous (Portals Nous, Cala)
The beach of Portals nous (Platja de Portals Nous) or Cala Bendinat (Cala Bendinat) is located in a secluded Cove flanked by rocky promontories extending into the sea between the beach of S Oratory (just West along the coast from the beach) and the area of Bendinat.
The beach is a small Bay with fine sand and clear water, having a length of 100 meters and an average width of 15 meters.
In the Bay the possibility of setting ships anchored, where the depth ranges from 2 to 3 meters.
In high season the beach offers sun loungers and parasols (sun lounger or umbrella 4,50 Euro), there is an urn and a shower. Near the beach there are cafes, a shop and a kiosk-bar with drinks and snacks.

The Beach Of Punta Portals (Playa Punta Portals)
Punta Portals or Caleta Punta Portals (Portals Punta Caleta) is a small beach located just behind the Marina of Puerto Portals, with its Eastern side the coast.
West coast this beach is bordered by the beach of Costa den Blanes (Playa de Costa d'en Blanes).
On the beach of light sand. Sea water is clean, the slope in a shallow sea.
In high season the beach offers sun loungers and parasols (sun lounger from 4,50 euros, an umbrella is 4 euros), there are urns.

Observation deck, located on a hill right above the beach of S Oratory.
