Bendinat (Bendinat) - the seaside village and residential district located in the municipality of Calvia in the southwestern part of the island, 9.5 km from the centre of island's capital, Palma.
On the East side of the coast Bendinat is bordered by the city and district Ses Illetas, and on the West with the resort town of Portals nous or Puerto portals nous.
Bendinat is not a very popular tourist area, it is more residential, however, within it there is a Golf course, kids adventure rope Park, castle, cafes and restaurants and accommodation facilities, including hotels.

Cala Bendinat (Cala Bendinat) or to the beach of Portals nous (Platja de Portals Nous) is located in a secluded Cove flanked by rocky promontories extending into the sea.
The beach is on the Western edge of the coast of Bendinat and it belongs to the Bendinat and Portals nous.
The beach is a small Bay with fine sand and clear water, having a length of 100 meters and an average width of 15 meters.
In the Bay the possibility of setting ships anchored, where the depth ranges from 2 to 3 meters.
In high season the beach offers sun loungers and parasols (sun lounger or umbrella 4,50 Euro), there is an urn and a shower. Near the beach there are cafes, a shop and a kiosk-bar with drinks and snacks.

The rest of the coast of Bendinat to the East from the beach in Portals nous and to the border with the town of SES Illetas, is characterized by mostly low rocky cliffs, with steep slopes and rocky-pebbly shoreline.

The Castle Of Bendinat
The Bendinat castle (Castell de Bendinat) was built in the 19th century (1855 - 1867 years) as a residence for the Marquis of La Romana, on the site of an ancient farmhouse, originally was in the 13th century.
The castle was built in neo-Gothic style, imitating the castles of Central Europe.
In 1876 the property in connection with the relocation of the Marquis and his family from Mallorca, has been sold to Joan Adelaide Damato. Later the castle belonged to the count of Montenegro.
Now the estate is surrounded by lush gardens, is privately owned and may for stays in apartments and celebrations, both private and corporate events.

Golf club of Bendinat
Golf club of Bendinat (Real Golf de Bendinat) was developed by Martin Hawtrey in 1986 and located between sea and mountain, in an extensive wooded valley in the heart of the Bendinat urbanization.
The club has an 18-hole Golf course, restaurant, bar, convenience store, a cloakroom and a Golf school.
