The urban-type settlement of Yantarny is famous for its long and wide sandy beach strip on the Baltic Sea coast, which runs along the entire village and goes beyond it.
Two parts of the beach area have been awarded the Blue Flag award, an international award presented annually, which is a kind of the highest assessment of the beach, an environmental certificate. That is, the beach meets all quality and safety standards, first of all, it is: environmentally friendly sea water and the coast, as well as the availability of infrastructure on the beach.
Many tourists around the world, choosing a particular area for a beach holiday, are guided by the presence of a Blue flag at the beach.
The total length of the coastal strip in Yantarny is a little more than three kilometers.
The sand on the beaches in Amber is light and fine, slightly hard. Small pebbles are found near the edge of the seawater. The approach to the sea is gentle, the bottom is mostly sandy.

Central Beach
The central beach is the most popular and crowded part of the beach strip in Yantarny.
The Central beach has the Blue Flag award, which it first received in 2019.
The central descent to the sea leads to the Central beach, which is a wide staircase, which is equipped with a lifting platform for people with disabilities.

The beach has all the necessary infrastructure: decking for ease of movement, showers and sinks, toilets (the cost of a visit is 15 rubles), garbage cans, changing cabins, rescue and first aid stations, playgrounds, beach cafes and bars, sun loungers and umbrellas, water activities.
The single cost of a chaise longue, umbrella and towel for a day is 300 rubles; a basket for sunbathing for a day is 800 rubles; a vip lounge for a day (a bed with a canopy) is 1,500 rubles.
The beach is wide, so there is enough space on it to fit on a personal towel or beach mat.

Behind the beach, on a hill, there is a green recreation and relaxation area - the Maurice Becker Park with rare trees, places to relax, paths and alleys for walking.
There are two descents from the park to the beach. And in the park itself there are swings installed on the platform above the cliff of the park in such a way that when swinging on them, views of the Yantarny Beach and the Baltic Sea open up.

The section of the beach strip further north is also sandy and wide, but without infrastructure.
This part of the beach is chosen mainly by those who prefer a more secluded vacation, and also visit the beach with their beach towels, sun umbrellas and food.
Shakhta Anna Beach
The beach located near the former mine of amber extraction "Anna", referred to as the beach "mine Anna", can be known as "Amber beach" - the second beach in the village of Amber, which has the award "Blue Flag".
To be precise, this is the first beach in Yantarny, and in Russia, which received the "Blue Flag". The flag was awarded in 2016, and was awarded again in subsequent years.
This beach, like the Central One, has all the necessary infrastructure. Prices for services are the same as on the Central Beach. Only cafes and people on the beach "mine Anna" - less.
Just above the beach, directly at that, there is a Parking lot. Which is certainly convenient for those who visit the beach by private car. There is a volleyball court with bleachers near the parking lot. There are also a couple of cafes.

A walkway with decking leads from the parking lot to the beach. There is a bio toilet, a couple of outlets with snacks and drinks.
Near the beach there is a cafe "Galera" and a small cafe where fish is smoked with you, and the tables are located on an outdoor terrace with views of the coast.

Quarry
In the quarry, located near the beach "mine Anna", there is an inflatable water park on the water.
There are also sun loungers and umbrellas, a small snack bar.
The beach of the Amber Lake (Sinyavinsky)
In addition to the Baltic Sea, there is a small beach on the northwestern outskirts of Yantarny near Lake Yantarny (Sinyavinsky).
The lake is a freshwater reservoir that was formed on the site of the former Walter quarry for the extraction of amber. When the amber-bearing rocks in the quarry were worked out, the quarry was deemed unprofitable and closed, the quarry was filled with spring and groundwater, resulting in the formation of a pond (lake).
The beach is not stretched, but wide. There is sand on the beach, mixed with a small amount of medium-sized pebbles.
The water in the pond is clear.
