Acequión beach is one of beaches of the Costa Blanca, bathed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean sea.
This beach is located in the southern part of the coast of Torrevieja, near one of the salt lakes - Laguna Salada de Torrevieja, in the distance, about two kilometers from the lively historic centre of the city.

Playa del Acequión fairly large size, for of Torrevieja, has the shape of a semicircle and a wide area with the fine sand of yellow color, sometimes mixed with pebbles. The entrance to the shallow sea, the bottom is mostly sand. The beach is cleaned daily in the morning, the sand dub.
On the beach there are wooden walkways, trash bins, soul for the feet. There are beach bars, cafes and restaurants, some of which are located directly on the sandy beach strip.
Within walking distance from the beach, literally a two minute walk away is the beach Naufragos, which is more conducive to a beach holiday.
In our opinion, the Acequión beach is not the best place for a beach holiday. Specifically to go to the beach does not make sense, but if you're staying near the beach, sunbathe and relax on this beach - it is possible.

Also, in the area of Acequión, close to the beach, there are several parks:
Skate Park/skatepark of Torrevieja and the adjacent area. Which has a skate area, a Playground, fountain, mini Golf, café and tapas bar.
Shady green Park Rincon de Asturias/Asturias parque Rincon de. In the Park walking paths, places to stay, lots of tall shady trees and palm trees. Local residents of nearby houses, coming to the Park to walk the dogs.
In this part of Torrevieja attractions there. Looking for those, will have to overcome a couple of miles, pass over the sea port and go to the historic center of the city.
