Los Locos Beach (Playa de Los Locos) is one of the central city beaches of Torrevieja. This beach is located in the eastern part of the coast of Torrevieja (north of the center) and is located a bit far from the historical center of the city, at a distance of about one and a half kilometers. Nevertheless, Lokos beach is very visited, and is one of the favorite places for a beach holiday among the guests of the city. In the high holiday season, the beach is crowded, it is almost impossible to find a secluded place.
To get to the beach from Torrevieja you can either walk up the road takes about 20 minutes or by public bus. Past the beach, the bus rides to/from La Mata. The stop is directly on the beach.
Playa de Los Locos has an elongated shape of a semicircle. The length of the beach is 760 meters and a width of 27 meters.
In the Eastern (Northern) part of the beach is rounded in the form of a small Bay, and is bordered by the rocky coast of the Cape.
On the West side, the beach of Los Locos is bordered by the Bay of Cala del Palare (Cala del Palagre). Rocky Bay Palangre, geographically belongs to the Locos beach, Bay visually blends in with the sandy beach. Primarily in the Bay of rocks, in the centre of the coastline the sand is light gray. The entrance to the sea is not very convenient, at the bottom there are craggy rocks. On the beach there is an urn, a shower for the feet, the descent is furnished with wooden flooring. The beach is quite clean. Depending on the weather, in some places, the water's edge, found natural debris, put on shore by the sea waves, but it doesn't. Sea water is clean and clear.
The narrowest part of the beach, in the center and the one closer to the Bay of Palaces, at the line of sea and at the entrance to the water and exposed rock.

In search of shadows you can rent sun loungers and parasols. Many vacationers come to the beach with their chairs, sunbeds and sun umbrellas - a good economy version.
Directly on the sandy beach strip there is a couple of cafes in the form of stalls with a small terrace. A nice place where you can relax, enjoy a cold drink or snack, while continuing to enjoy the sea scenery.
The busiest part of the beach Locos, there is the main mass of the cafe is its Eastern part.
