Bus
The airport's connection to the centre of Malaga is provided by the Express Airport bus (line A), which takes 15-20 minutes to get from the airport to the centre.
The fare is 3 euros. Tickets can be purchased for cash from the bus driver at the entrance.
Buses run daily every 15-30 minutes from the airport to the centre of Malaga - from 07:00 to 24:00 hrs; from Malaga centre to the airport - from 06:25 until 23:30 hours.
Bus stop at the airport is located near the main exit of the arrivals area. Arriving at the airport and leaving the building, you will see bus stops almost in front of you, at each stop it will be indicated what time and where the bus should go. Our stop is the far right.
The bus goes through the bus station to the General Torrijos square / plaza del General Torrijos (which is near the port, the old town and Malagueta beach).
In addition to the center of Malaga, you can immediately get to Marbella, Estepona, Algeciras, Ronda, Seville, Granada, Torrox, Almeria, etc. from the airport.
Commuter train
Line C1 of Renfe suburban trains connects málaga airport with the city center and a few places on the Costa del Sol. Line route S1: Malaga Centro-Alameda - Fuengirola (via airport).
The train will take you to the center of Malaga in 12 minutes. The train from the airport goes through Malaga’s main railway station and to the Malaga Centro-Alameda train station.
At the airport the station of local trains (Aeropuerto) is in the building located opposite to an arrival zone, there are vending machines of tickets.
From the airport and málaga city centre by suburban train you can reach the following resorts: Torremolinos; Benalmádena and Fuengirola.

Trains run daily: from Malaga centre to the airport - from 05:20 until 23:30 hrs; from Malaga airport to the centre - 06:44 and 00:54 hours.
Besides C1 line in Malaga C2 Line trains ply. Line C2 connects the center of Malaga with Álora.
