The embankment and the beach of Svetlogorsk are separated from the central street of the city - Lenin and the main urban infrastructure, located on a small hill (elevation), by a cliff, so the descent and ascent must be carried out either along the street or equipped steps, or on a cable car.

A trip by cable car can be both a solution to get to the beach or from the beach to the city, or just an interesting pastime.

The upper station of the cable car is located behind the Svetlogorsk-2 railway station, and the lower one is right on the promenade, at its western end, near the Svetlogorsk beach.
