Antalya airport is quite large and quite modern. The bulk of the passengers received by the airport annually are international passengers who came to the resort cities of Turkey for work, for doing business, and of course the bulk are tourists. Turkey has long been a favorite place for summer sea holidays for the main part of Russian and many European tourists.
In our opinion, the airport is devoid of significant drawbacks. Everything in it is quite modern, quite decent and clean.
Antalya airport are duty free Shops - duty free shop. Duty Free prices on alcohol products significantly lower than in the shops in the resorts of Turkey, and in the hotels all inclusive selection of alcoholic drinks usually are not great, and they are all very low quality, that is the cheapest, if not a substitute. So, if your vacation is not complete without a good glass of alcoholic drink, then it is better to stock up more on arrival at the airport.
At the airport met, if not all, most of the services that passengers feel comfortable and convenient.
Throughout the airport ATMs are located, and in the departure hall is Garanti Bank, which is open 24 hours a day.
In the arrivals hall there is the currency exchange. Exchanging currency at the airport do not suggest, the course is sooo not the best. In the city centre you can exchange currency at a much less extortionate rate. At the airport take local currency, the Turkish Lira, the dollar and the Euro.
Also the airport shops duty free, which we mentioned above, cafes and restaurants, information kiosks, working round the clock first aid, mother and child are available in all terminals, for children from 2 to 5 years, a Playground with slides, swings and space for ball games. As well as provided services such as, lost and found, car rental, packing Luggage, disabled Parking, post office, taxis etc.
At the airport, all passengers can make free use of trolleys, which are located in departures and arrivals and on the street.
The most common purpose of flying into Antalya is the purpose of the stay according to the tour. If you arrived in Antalya on the tour, it to worry about it not worth it, at the exit of the airport building you will be greeted by representatives of tour operators will be seated on buses and taken to your accommodation.
From local and international terminals of Antalya airport approximately every 20-30 minutes buses passing through the city centre. The final bus stop is the bus station. The price of travel is constantly changing, but when we went, it was no more than three dollars.
Approximate journey time from the airport to the bus station about a half hour. On time is not necessary, it all depends on stops and traffic. It is always better to have a little time left.
Taxi at your service any time, day or night, but a taxi will cost much more expensive than travel by public transport. The price of trips should be arranged in advance, otherwise upon billing, you may be unpleasantly surprised by its size.
Or, book a taxi/Shuttle service is possible on the website, in advance, even from home. At any time of the day, at the airport, you will meet your driver with a sign, which will be written your name and surname. For taxi is enough to tell us your flight details.
Below from Antalya airport to go to a nearby resort town, say, Kemer, Alanya or Kas, you must first get to the bus station (in Turkish OTOGAR) as described above and already at the bus station to get on the correct bus.
