Rosa Khutor is a year-round mountain resort, which is the most famous and considered respectable in Russia.
The Rosa Khutor resort is located in the village of Esto-Sadok (Krasnaya Polyana) in the Adler district of Sochi, on the banks of the Mzymta River and on the slopes (north and south) of the Aibga ridge.
According to the infrastructure, Rosa Khutor is a full-fledged ski and year-round family resort with everything you need, both for skiing and snowboarding, and for year-round recreation without skiing.
The territory of the Rosa Khutor ski complex covers approximately 1820 hectares. All resort facilities, including ski slopes and lifts, are located on the north-western, north-eastern and southern slopes (relative to the Rosa Khutor resort itself) of the Aibga ridge; at various altitudes: starting from the Mzymta River from 560 meters above sea level and reaching the peaks of the mountain range - "Rosa Peak" and "Stone Pillar", located at 2320 - 2509 meters above sea level.
Technically Rosa Khutor consists of: the main gondola (closed box) cable cars, which you can climb to different heights of the resort, chairlifts and ski lifts; and seven core areas (rose Valley, the Mountain Olympic village of the Rosa Stadium, station "Garden", "rose-1600", rose Peak and the southern slope), in and near which is located the ski slopes and the main object of the resort.

Rosa Khutor Ski lifts
To ensure comfortable access of guests to various heights and routes, Rosa Khutor has 30 lifts: gondola (closed cabins with seats, with a capacity of up to 8 people), high-speed chairlift, chairlift, towbar and conveyor (escalators).
The ascent to the resort can be started from three places:
- Rosa Dolina is the lowest level of the Rosa Khutor resort, located in the village of Esto-Sadok at an altitude of 550-560 meters above sea level.
Unlike all other heights of Rosa Khutor, you can easily get to Rosa Dolina by public transport (buses, electric trains) - there are public bus stops and the Rosa Khutor railway station in Rosa Dolina. Also in Rosa Dolina there are parking lots and accommodation facilities (hotels, apartments).
In the Rosa Valley there is the lower station of the cable cars of the Rosa Khutor resort, from where you can climb the gondola cable cars "Olympia" and "Strela" to two heights located on the Aibga ridge: Rosa Plateau (Mountain Olympic Village) and the station "Rosa-1600".
The Olympia cable car lifts guests to the "Rosa Plato" (Mountain Olympic Village) at an altitude of 1170 meters above sea level and is accessible by ski passes and year-round by walking tickets.
The Strela cable car lifts guests to the Rosa-1600 mark at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level. During the winter season, the Strela lift is only accessible to guests via ski passes, so the queue for this cable car at the height of the season is usually less, and using this cable car, skiers and snowboarders can save time than when climbing the Olympia cable car. - Rosa Stadium, located at 940 meters above sea level, in the north-eastern part of the Rosa Khutor resort.
You can get to Rosa Stadion by car; there is parking at the station.
With the Rose, it is possible to climb to the Stadium on the high-speed chairlift "Wolf Rock" and the chairlift "Besedka" to the bookmark 1350 meters above sea level (the station "Besedka"), as well as on the gondola lift "Dryada" in the north-eastern sector of the resort;
- The Mountain Olympic Village (abbreviated as the YEAR), which is the most extensive, visited and one of the most interesting stations for walking and recreation in the Rosa Khutor resort.
It is located on the plateau of the Aibga ridge, at an altitude of 1100 - 1170 meters above sea level.
You can get there from Rosa Dolina by the Olympia gondola cable car or by car. In Rosa Dolina there are paid parking and accommodation facilities (hotels, chalets, apartments).
Rosa Khutor Ski Slopes
All conditions are provided for skiers and snowboarders at the Rosa Khutor resort. At various heights there are ticket offices, luggage storage, medical centers, cafes and restaurants, instructor services and ski equipment rental.
The total length of the ski slopes on Rosa Khutor is 102 kilometers, with a height difference of 1569 meters on the slopes.
Rosa Khutor has trails of all levels of difficulty, starting from easy (green) and ending with very difficult (black) trails, including Olympic descents. There are also educational and children's slopes, snow parks and trails with artificial lighting, suitable for evening skiing.

Walking tickets to Rosa Khutor
You can visit various heights of Rosa Khutor all year round with walking tickets, which give you the opportunity to enjoy the resort and all its infrastructure, both in the summer season and in the winter without skiing.
Variations of walking tickets, winter and summer, vary and include:
- in winter-ascent to Rosa Peak on three cable cars "Olympia", "Reserved forest" and "Caucasian Express", with access at the stations Mountain Olympic village, Gazebo, Rosa-1600 and Rosa Peak;
- in summer-ascent to Rosa Peak on the same three cable cars; + ticket combinations are possible, for example: ascent to Rosa Peak (route "Way to the Peaks") with a visit to the Yeti Park amusement park, or with a visit to the Mendelikha Waterfall Park.
In summer, as a rule, the gondola cable cars Olympia, the Reserved Forest and the Caucasian Express - leading to Rosa Peak, as well as chairlifts (open)are open: Wolf Rock, leading to Rosa Stadium from the Gazebo station; Edelweiss, leading from Rosa Peak along the southern slope of the ridge to the park of Mendelikha and Crocus waterfalls, leading to the top of the Stone Pillar.

Rosa Dolina
Rosa Dolina stretches in a mountain gorge on both banks of the Mzymta River on a plot of just over 2 kilometers: from the lower station of the cable cars of the Gazprom mountain and tourist center of the Alpika slope to the My Russia ethnopark.
In the Rosa Valley, along the Mzymta River, there are beautiful and well-equipped embankments of the river, which is crossed by several bridges.
Along the banks of the bright river rise buildings that areshops and salons, cafes and restaurants, hotels and apartments also feature a casino, ice rink, indoor karting, children's playgrounds and a children's adventure Park, adventure zone, archery, crossbow shooting, bath facilities, Spa and massage complexes, multifunctional concert complex rose Hall, health trail, Museum of Archaeology, ethno-Park "My Russia" etc.
In summer, the following services are also available for guests:

One of the most visited places in the Rosa Valley is Rosa Square - the main square of the Rosa Khutor mountain resort, where holidays, festivals and other mass events are held throughout the year, and a Christmas tree is installed on New Year's Eve.
The central place on the Rose Square is occupied by the town hall. The town hall building is decorated with a high clock tower, which is stylized as the tower of the Sochi railway station.
From the Romanov Bridge near Rosa Square, a walking "steam locomotive-stove" runs, driving guests along the Rosa Dolina embankment (a circle of about 2 kilometers). Cost: 200 rubles per person per circle.

Olympic Mountain Village (Rosa Plato)

At the Mountain Olympic Village, it is possible to transfer to the gondola cable car "Zapovedniy les" (with walking tickets all year round, and in winter also by ski passes), which will take guests to the "Besedka" station.
Rosa Stadium
On the "Rosa Stadium" there are: parking, ticket offices, cafes, toilets, ski lifts, two lakes and three thematic year-round parks:
- the main park of Husky Farm, where they conduct excursions around the park. In the winter season, sledding in a dog sled is possible, and in the summer - dog tracking and hiking with dogs;
- A deer farm, where adults and calves live, there is also a rabbit house on the territory. There are guided tours at the Deer Farm;
- ethno-farm "Shishin Dvor", where you can chat with domestic goats and goats, taste and buy farm cheeses, honey and pastries, and visit a cozy mini-village with a recreated life of Russian immigrants of the 19th century.
There are guided tours in the ethno-farm, you can ride a pony (500 rubles per lap, the weight of the rider is up to 45 kilograms).
Entrance to each of the parks is paid.
To get from the Mountain Olympic Village to Husky Farm, Deer Farm and Shishin yard, you can use transfers that run daily. The transfer stop is located near the Rosa Priyut building. The transfer is included in the price of the visit; - if you visit one of the two parks or both at once when you arrive at the parks, the round-trip transfer will be free, - if you do not use the services of the parks on the spot, the transfer will cost 200 rubles per person in one direction.

Arbor Station
The Gazebo station is located at an altitude of 1350 meters above sea level.
At the station there are: observation points, places for walking and recreation, lifts, an information center, cafes, toilets, a medical center.
In winter, these are also ski slopes. At the Arbor station, it is possible to transfer to the Kavkazskiy express gondola cable carleading to Rosa Peak, as well as to the Wolf Rock high-speed chairlift leading to Rosa Stadium.
During the movement, the Caucasian Express cable car passes the Rosa-1600 landing station, located at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level.
Landing on the Rosa-1600 is possible only when climbing up. When descending, there is no landing-the cabins of the Caucasian Express lift go directly to the Arbor station.
You can get off at the transfer station. There are: observation points, places for walking and recreation, lifts, a first aid station, a restaurant and toilets.

Rose of the Peak
Rosa Peak is the most visited, accessible all year round and easy to reach high point of the Rosa Khutor resort, located at an altitude of 2320 meters above sea level.
At the Rose Peak there are: an observation deck and observation points, a high-altitude restaurant, lifts, toilets, a first aid station, as well as entertainment: swings above the clouds, a suspension bridge and paragliding. All entertainment is available when the weather is right.
In winter, these are also ski slopes.
In summer, hiking and horseback riding along the ridge are possible.
Then Rose Peak (Southern slope)

Rosa Khutor Beach on the Black Sea
The Rosa Khutor resort has a beach on the Black Sea, located in the Imereti resort: Adler, Imereti lowland, opposite the Fisht stadium.
Rosa Khurot beach is considered one of the best in the Olympic Park and is a wide strip of pebbles, on which sun beds and umbrellas are placed in the summer season, all the necessary beach services are also provided (towels, changing rooms, decking for ease of movement, etc.), there is a children's area, a pontoon, a cafe-bar, sap surfing and diving services.
For guests staying in hotels of the Rosa Khutor resort complex, a shuttle service to the beach and back is organized during the summer period.

How to get to Rosa Khutor

The fastest and most convenient way to get from Sochi airport to Rosa Khutor is by taxi. You can order a taxi / transfer in advance, even from home.
