The Pointe is one of the popular shopping and leisure spots in Dubai, where shops, restaurants and entertainment are concentrated, there is a beach, a promenade and a dancing light and music fountain.
The Pointe is located at the top of the "nose" (far edge, tip) of the man-made bulk Palm Jumeirah, across the bay 5-star Atlantis The Palm
The Pointe is a picturesque coastal area of Dubai that anyone can visit, which is an open-air shopping and entertainment complex with views of the Persian Gulf and Palm Jumeirah.
In the complex there are: an abundance of restaurants and cafes, shops, boutiques, souvenir shops and supermarkets, a shopping center and a cinema, places for recreation and walking, gyms, a playground, as well as a small square with slot machines, children's cars and a bus, a carousel and other entertainment.
The Pointe Beach
Near the sea waters at the Pointe there is a small sandy beach with changing rooms, showers, sun umbrellas and water activities.
The beach is free.
Promenade The Pointe
A one and a half kilometer promenade stretches along the waters of the bay, on one side of which there are restaurants, cafes and shops, and on the other - a view of the sea waters.
The restaurants have terraces overlooking the bay.
Palm Fountain
The main element of the Pointe is The Palm Fountain, consisting of two parts located on both sides of the promenade.
The fountain is located in the open air, right in the waters of the Persian Gulf.
The fountain is capable of throwing jets of water to a height of up to 105 meters.
Every evening, when it gets dark, the fountain shows dancing light and music shows, during which the jets of the fountain are illuminated in different colors and “dance” to the music, creating compositions in which many water jets either gracefully bend or are thrown sharply upwards.
Fountains can be viewed from two sides - from the western and eastern parts of the promenade. More about the fountain and the show with photos and videos…
If you want to enjoy the fountain show in the evenings, you can stay in hotels opposite the fountains:
