The Palm Fountain is a large fountain in Dubai, which shows colorful light and music shows in the evenings.
The fountain is located in the open air, right in the waters of the Persian Gulf near the promenade The Pointe complex, located on the "nose" (far edge) of the man-made bulk Palma Jumeirah, directly opposite 5-star Atlantis The Palm
By location, the fountain is also known as the Fountain Point and the Palm Jumeirah Fountain.
The Palm Fountain is the world's largest light and music fountain with sea water and has received a Guinness certificate as the largest musical fountain in the world.
The fountain was opened in October 2020.
The fountain covers an area of 14,000 square meters and consists of two floating parts located along the Point promenade, separated by a protruding part of the land.
The fountain's water jets are illuminated by 3000 LED spotlights.
The fountain is capable of throwing out water jets to a height of up to 105 meters. The water for the fountain is taken directly from the sea.
During the show, the fountain jets are illuminated in different colors and "dance" to the music, creating stunning compositions in which a lot of water jets then gracefully bend, then abruptly throw up.
The sounds of the melodies to which the fountain dances are different, and range from international popular hits to classical works and oriental music.

Practical information
The Palm Fountain show is free. You can watch the show from Point Embankment.
The fountain show is held daily, every 30 minutes after dark (18:00 hours) until 22:30 on weekdays and until 00:00 on weekends.
Due to adverse weather conditions, the fountain show may be canceled. Also, the show is not held on the days of repair work.

You can get to the Point complex and the Palm Fountain at taxi, car or Palm Jumeirah Monorail, which runs around Palm Jumeirah and starts from the Palm Gateway stop. Get off at the stop "The Pointe". Dubai transport cards are not valid on the monorail and separate tickets must be purchased, which can be bought at the box office at the monorail stations.
