How to get from Antalya airport to the center: tram, buses, shuttle, taxi, car

Antalya Airport (Antalya Havalimanı) is a large airport in Antalya, which has several terminals, including international and domestic.

Antalya Airport is the main destination for tourists both to the city of Antalya itself and to resorts located along the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, such as Kemer and the surrounding area, Lara, Belek, Side, Manavgat and Alanya.

Antalya Airport serves local and international flights. Flights to Antalya →

The airport is located in the northeast of Antalya, 12 kilometers from the historical center of the city - the old town of Kaleichi.

The airport has three terminals: two international (terminal 1 and terminal 2) and domestic (terminal 3), located in the same building as terminal 1. International terminal 1 and domestic terminal 3 have separate entrances and are interconnected .

The distance between Terminals 1 and 2 is approximately 2.5 kilometers, you can walk, get there by public buses or taxis.

Antalya Airport has all the necessary infrastructure: shops, cafes and restaurants, information desks, health offices, restrooms, children's rooms, places to relax and wait for flights, lost and found, facilities for people with disabilities, free Wi-Fi, smoking areas, ATMs, currency exchange offices, duty-free zones and parking.

The exchange rate at the airport is usually less favorable than in the city center, so we recommend exchanging small amounts of money at the airport.

How to get from Antalya Airport to Antalya city center (from Antalya city center to airport)

If you arrived in Antalya with a tour operator (on a tourist voucher), then your voucher most likely already includes a transfer from the airport to the hotels and back, and your tour operator will take you to the hotel.

Upon arrival, you will meet with your tour operator at the reception desk, which are located on the streets next to the terminals and specify where to go and which bus to take you to your destination.

If you arrived in Antalya on your own, then you can get from Antalya airport to the center of Antalya, as well as from the center to the airport, by taxi / transfer, rented car, shuttle bus and public transport (tram, buses).

Taxi / Transfers

Getting from Antalya airport to the center of Antalya is most convenient and fastest by taxi. You can order a taxi in advance, even from home. At any time of the day, at the airport, a driver will be waiting for you with a sign where your first and last name will be written. To order a taxi, it is enough to provide your flight data!

There are both taxis for up to 4 people and mini buses for up to 13 people.

You can also take a taxi from the airport and the center of Antalya to any city and resort in Turkey (Kemer, Lara, Belek, Side, Alanya, etc.).

Car

One of the most convenient ways to travel independently in Turkey, including the surroundings of Antalya, is by car. You can rent a car in advance, even from home, the car will be waiting for you immediately upon arrival near the airport, or in another place convenient for you in the city.

Antalya Airport is connected to the city center by the D400 road. The journey by car takes about 20 minutes.

When you arrive at the airport from the city, first follows the international Terminal 1, the domestic terminal and the CIP terminal building respectively; then, behind these buildings, is the International Terminal 2 building.

Shuttle buses

Havash shuttle buses (HAVAŞ) run from the domestic terminal (they do not stop in terminal 2) to the center of Antalya - the Migros shopping center (Konyaaltı Migros AVM), which is near Konyaalti Beach and Aktur Amusement Park.

Passengers of international flights can approach the domestic terminal and use the services of shuttle buses.

During the movement, buses make stops, including stopping at the Antalya bus station (Otogar) and stopping near the aquarium.

The travel time by bus is approximately 35 minutes, but may vary depending on the situation on the roads and weather conditions.

Movements time from the Migros shopping center: from 02:00 to 21:00. The interval of movement is 1 time per hour, except for the interval from 02:00 to 04:00 in the morning. Bus supervision hours vary depending on domestic flights, so we recommend checking the timetable immediately before the trip.

The fare is 47 Turkish lira. The fare can be paid in cash to the driver.

In Antalya, trams can have different numbers, so you need to focus not on the number, but on the inscriptions on the trams. It is impossible to confuse the tram at the airport, it is only one there and always T1A. But when traveling from the city center to the airport, you can make a mistake to avoid this by tram, see the inscription "Havalimanı" (which means "airport" in Turkish), since two trams run along almost the same route: T1A - to the airport and T1B, which does not stop at the airport, but goes to the EXPO.

Map-scheme of Antalya trams

The platform with the tram stop at the airport is located near Terminal 1 (directly opposite the domestic terminal; the platform can be reached on foot or by elevator). The tram does not stop near Terminal 2.

The buses

There are several bus routes, depending on which point of Antalya you need to get to.

Bus №600runs on the route Airport - Bus Station (Antalya Havalimanı - Şehir Merkezi - Otogar).

During the movement, the bus makes stops, including stops near Konyaalti Beach (Konyaaltı Beach) - stop "100 Yıl Blv-5" or "Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesi-2". The distance from the stops directly to the beach is about 1.2 - 1.4 kilometers.

Movements time from the airport: from 06:35 to 00:35 hours. Movements time from the bus station: from 05:30 to 23:30 hours. The interval of movement is 1 time per hour. The approximate travel time from the airport to the city center is 40-45 minutes, to the bus station - 50-60 minutes.

Bus №800 runs on the route Airport - Burhanettin Onat Street (Antalya Havalimanı - Burhanettin Onat Caddesi).

The bus passes the popular tourist area of Lara.

If you need to get to an area near Lara beach, then it is better to get off at the stop "Barınaklar Blv-11". The distance from the stop to Lara Beach is about 2.9 kilometers.

If you need to get to the Old Town, then you should get off at the stop "Cebesoy Cd-10". The distance from the bus stop to the old town is about 650 meters.

Movements time from the airport: from 06:15 to 23:40 hours. Movements time from Burhanettin Onat Street (Sampi intersection): from 06:00 to 22:15 hours. The interval of movement is 1 time in 75 minutes.

Bus stops at Antalya Airport

Buses stop near all terminals of Antalya Airport.

The first departure point of bus №800 at Antalya Airport is from the 2nd International Terminal (T2). The departure time indicated above corresponds to the departure time from the 2nd international terminal. The bus departs from the 1st international Terminal (T1) 5 minutes after departure from the domestic terminal.

The bus stop near terminals T1 (international lines) and T3 (domestic lines) is located on the right at the exit of the arrival halls. Near Terminal T2 at the exit of the arrival hall on the opposite side. In the airport terminals, it is easy to navigate by signs.

Attention! Bus routes, stops, hours and intervals of movement may change, we recommend checking the information immediately before the trip on the website: ulasim.antalya.bel.tr. You can also check the information on trams on the website.

Payment for public transport in Antalya

Cash payment is not accepted in Antalya public transport.

You can pay for travel using Antalyakart transport cards or contactless bank cards.

Near the tram stop, as well as near bus stops, there are vending machines for buying and (or) replenishing Antaliakart.

To get on the tram, at the entrance to the platform, you must attach a bank card or an Antalyakart transport card to the turnstile. To get out of the car, you need to press the button on the door.

The fare in the tram is twice lower than in public airport buses. The fare when paying with an Antaliakart is slightly lower than when paying with a contactless bank card. Antaliakart itself costs money (it must be purchased at the terminal and replenished with the amount of money you need for travel).

Detailed information about Antaliikart (places of purchase and replenishment, fare, etc.) is recommended to specify on the website: antalyakart.com.tr.
