Antalya Aquarium (Antalya Oceanarium) is an aquarium complex, which is one of the largest of its kind in the world and is among the TOP visited places in Turkey.
The aquarium opened its doors to visitors on August 15, 2012. It was designed as an amusement center with an enclosed area of 15,000 meters on 30 hectares of land.
The Antalya Aquarium is located within the city of Antalya and includes several objects : the aquarium itself, Wild Park (terrarium), snow World, wax Museum, XD cinema, VR 360 video, souvenir shop, catering areas and exhibition halls.
The Aquarium has 40 themed aquariums with inhabitants of the underwater world, including a variety of fish, colorful koi fish, stingrays and sharks.
The pride of the aquarium is a tunnel aquarium with a length of 131 meters and a width of 3 meters with more than 5 million liters of water.
The first section of the tunnel demonstrates the life of tropical reefs and is connected with an underwater cave.
The second part of the tunnel tells about the sunken city of Atlantis and the Mediterranean theme, as well as sunken pirate ships and an airplane crash. In this section, you can watch the sharks circling around the treasures.
The longest third part of the tunnel shows the wreckage of a submarine, which is home to sea creatures.
Feeding in the Antalya Aquarium
In the aquarium, you can watch the feeding of fish, sharks and rays. Feeding depends on the seasonal habits of the inhabitants.
The aquarium is home to different types of harmless stingrays that are used to hand feeding. Guests of the aquarium can feed these stingrays themselves by hand, using specially prepared baits, which can be obtained for a fee, and using gloves, which will also be provided.

WildPark is a terrarium (closed tank) with snakes, spiders, frogs, scorpions, chameleons, lizards, crocodiles and other animals.
Visiting the terrarium is accompanied by special sounds, such as rains, clicks in caves, sounds of creatures hiding in bushes, monkeys jumping from tree to tree, birdsong, desert winds and other special sounds and effects selected by theme.
The Museum of the Snow World and Ice is an indoor pavilion where snow lies all year round.
The museum is located on the covered territory of the aquarium with an area of 1500 square meters.
In this area there is an igloo, the house of St. Nicholas and a cafe. The temperature here ranges from 0 to -5 degrees Celsius.
In the wax museum you can see celebrities who have left their mark on world history.
There are more than 50 figures of famous people on the closed terrace of the aquarium with an area of about 1000 square meters with specially designed decor.
In the XD cinema, you can watch a three-dimensional film about underwater travel, consisting of real images.

From Antalya Bus Station, you can get to Konyaaltı 5 M Migros, which is a short walk from Antalya Aquarium, by buses TK36 and VF02.
From Antalya Airport you can get to Konyaaltı 5 M Migros by buses 600 and 800.
From Lara - to Konyaalti 5 M Migros by buses KL08, LF09 and LF10.
From Kundu - to the Antalya bus station by buses LC37 and LC73, and from the bus station by buses.
