The Amber Hall Variety Theater is a modern multifunctional concert complex made in an interesting three-dimensional architectural style. Built not so long ago, in 2014, Yantar Hall has become another asset of Svetlogorsk and the center of attraction for many new events in this small resort town.
Amber Hall is located in the city of Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad region, at the address: Lenin St., 11. Following from the railway station Svetlogorsk-2 along the busy and central street of the city - Lenin, through numerous souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants, you will certainly find yourself near the main entrance to one of the most famous concert halls of our time.

Amber Hall is famous primarily for the fact that within its walls for the past year in a row the annual music festival of KVN teams has been held, bearing some kind of absurd name, the Vociferous KiViN. The name KiViN comes from the awards that teams receive instead of ratings - "KiViNs".
KiViN traditionally takes place in the month of July. It is at this time of the year that hundreds of tourists from all over the country and abroad come to Svetlogorsk. Until 2015, the annual KVN teams music festival was held for more than 15 years in the Dzintari concert hall in the famous Jurmala, after that, due to "disagreements", it was decided not to hold the festival in Latvia anymore, but to move it to Russia. All this served to resume the construction of a new concert complex in Svetlogorsk in 2014.
At that time of the year, when there is no KIVIN in the Amber Hall, the walls of the complex are not empty. Concerts and performances are held in the Amber Hall, exhibitions and events of various directions are organized.
The ticket price depends on the event, mainly varies from 500 to 30,000 rubles.
We visited one of the events held in Yantar Hall - the International Exhibition of PRO Tourism. The exhibition did not meet our expectations, only local firms and hotels were present, the scale was also pumped up.
In the building of Yantar Hall there is an auditorium with a capacity for two thousand seats, a cinema, a conference hall, a branch of the Museum of the World Ocean "Marine Exhibition Center", cultural, business and restaurant and entertainment blocks.
What else is interesting in Amber Hall? This is its location. The variety theater is located in a green forested area, almost on the very shore of the Baltic Sea.
The park near Yantar Hall is well maintained, equipped with alleys for walking, places for recreation and a small sports ground with outdoor exercise equipment, and the building of Yantar Hall fits very harmoniously into the surrounding forest landscape and even brings variety.
50 steps from the Amber Hall there is a beautiful cliff, beyond which the waters of the Baltic Sea stretch.
