Krasnaya Polyana (formerly Gorki Gorod) is a year-round mountain resort located in the foothills of the Main Caucasian Ridge, the Aibga Ridge, in Krasnaya Polyana (Esto-Sadok).
The main sport and entertainment in the winter season on the slopes of the resort is skiing and snowboarding on ski passes.

In addition to skiing, the resort offers its guests walking tickets - these are tickets for walking trips on the cable cars of the slopes without skiing.
Walking tickets are available all year round. But there are preventive days when the cable cars do not work-mostly in the fall, as well as the time of routine maintenance.
There are different variations of walking tickets, which vary depending on the season (winter or summer), and also, in addition to climbing and descending on cable cars, they can include certain entertainment and activities at the resort. In the summer season, there are usually more variations of walking tickets than in the winter season. Winter walking tickets at the Krasnaya Polyana resort
During the winter season, only three gondola cable cars are available for walking tickets (closed cabins with seats, with a capacity of up to 8 people): Krasnaya Polyana K-1, Relict forest K-2 and Vertex K-3.
On these cable cars, you can climb from the mark Polyana 540 to the top "Polyana 2200" with two transfers.
The K-1 cable car starts from the lower cable car station of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, located at the Polyana 540 mark. It lifts guests to the station "Polyana 960". At Polyana 960, it is necessary to transfer to the K-2 cable car, which will raise to the "+1460 meters", where you should make another transfer to the K-3 cable car, which lifts guests to the mark "Polyana 2200".
With walking tickets at each of the three heights (Glade 960, +1460 meters, Glade 2200), you can go out and use all the services and entertainment located at a particular height.

- "Panorama of Krasnaya Polyana" - one ascent and one descent during one day on the cable cars "Krasnaya Polyana", "Relict Forest" and "Vershina" to Polyana 2200 with a 360° panoramic viewing platform;
- "Polyana 960" - one ascent and one descent on the K-1 cable car to Polyana 960.
Summer walking tickets at the Krasnaya Polyana resort
In the summer season, three of the above-mentioned gondola cable cars are available for walking tickets (as in the winter season), + chair lifts of the resort: as a rule, these are Aibga (K-4), Black Pyramid (K-5), Eastern Forest (K-10), Champion's Start (K-12) and Polikar Waterfall (K-13).
The Aibga and Black Pyramid chairlifts lift guests from the Glade 2200 to the level of +2350 meters, from where in the summer season you can make a hike (with climbing equipment and for a fee, which is carried out on site) to the top of the Black Pyramid, located at an altitude of 2375 meters above sea level. The Vostochny Les chairlift lifts guests from Glade 960 to the Eastern Sector of the resort at +1000 meters.
In the Eastern Sector, the Champion's Start chairlifts and the Polikar Waterfall are available, where you can climb up to the level of +1370 meters, and then walk along mountain trails to one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in Sochi - the Polikar Waterfall.
Walking tickets in the summer season:
- walking ticket for all open cable cars;
- "Polyana 960" - ascent and descent on the K-1 cable car to Polyana 960;
- "Polikar Waterfall" - ascent and descent on cable cars to the level of +1370 meters: K-1, K-10, K-12 and K-13;
- "Rope Adventure Park" is a ticket for the K-1 and K-2 cable cars up to a height of +1460 meters, which also includes passing routes in the rope adventure park located at 1460 meters.
The rope park is a "rope town" with routes of various difficulty levels and observation platforms fixed on trees at a height of 1 to 10 meters.
A visit to the height of 1460 meters is included in the price of all walking tickets valid up to the Glade 2200. In addition to the above, in the summer season, hiking trails (ecotropes) run along the slopes of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, which can be visited for free and which start from Glade 960 and reach the height of the Black Pyramid. Those who want to go hiking along the routes can climb to any height of the resort and then follow the trails.

You can stay at the Krasnaya Polyana resort in two places:
1. In the lower reaches of the cable cars - in Glade 540.
2. On the second level of the resort-in the Glade 960.
