Krasnaya Polyana (formerly Gorki Gorod) is a year-round mountain resort located in the foothills of the Main Caucasian Ridge, the Aibga Ridge, in Krasnaya Polyana (Esto Sadke).

The total approximate area of the resort is 863.7 hectares. Technically, the Krasnaya Polyana resort consists of:
- the main gondola cable cars, on which you can climb to different heights of the resort, chairlifts and rope lifts;

Ski lifts of the Krasnaya Polyana resort
To ensure comfortable access of guests to various heights and trails, the Krasnaya Polyana resort has gondola cable cars (closed cabins with seats, with a capacity of up to 8 people), chairlift (4-seater chairs), towline types and a travolator along the children's educational slope.
The ascent on the cable cars around the resort can be started from two places:
1. Polyana 540 - the lower level of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, located in the village of Esto-Sadok at an altitude of 540 meters above sea level.
Unlike all other heights of the resort, you can easily get to Polyana 540 by public transport (buses, electric trains) - there are public bus stops in Polyana 540, and there are railway stations nearby.

2. Polyana 960, which is the most extensive, visited and one of the most interesting stations for walking and recreation in the Krasnaya Polyana resort.
Glade 960 is located on the plateau of the Aibga ridge, at an altitude of 840-960 meters above sea level.
Glade 960 can be reached by the K-1 gondola cable car or by private car. In Polyana 960 there are paid parking and accommodation facilities (hotels, chalets, apartments).
Gondola and chair lifts run from Glade 960 to various heights of the resort.

There are ski passes from midday and evening to multi-day and seasonal.
There are adult and children's ski passes. Children's tickets are available for children from 7 to 14 years old inclusive. Children up to and including 6 years old are provided with a free pass.

- fast tracks - the passage to the boarding on the cable cars of the resort is out of turn.

Walking tickets are available all year round and their variations vary depending on the season.
Winter season
In the winter season, three gondola cable cars are available for walking tickets: Krasnaya Polyana K-1, Relict forest K-2 and Vertex K-3.
On these cable cars, you can climb from the Polyana 540 mark to the top "Polyana 2200" with two transfers.
The K-1 cable car starts from the lower station of the cable cars of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, located at the Polyana 540 mark. It lifts guests to the station "Polyana 960". Beach on the Black Sea
Krasnaya Polyana resort has a beach on the Black Sea, located in the Imereti resort: Adler, Imereti Lowland, near the Olympic Park and the Sochi Park theme park.
The beach is designed for 300 people and is a wide strip of pebbles and sand, on which sun beds and umbrellas are placed in the summer season, all the necessary beach services are also provided (towels, changing rooms, luggage storage, decking for ease of movement, etc.), there is a children's area, an aerarium and a cafe-bar.

Polyana 960 is the second height (second level) of the resort, which can be reached all year round by the Krasnaya Polyana gondola cable car (K-1) from the lower cable car station in Polyana 540, as well as by car.
In the Meadow 960 are: restaurants and cafes, shops and showrooms, residential area with hotels, Parking, lifts, walking areas, children's Playground, lookout mountain baths, Medical & SPA centre, husky center, reindeer farm, a theme Park Wonder Land, archery shooting and a possible hot air ballooning. Glade 1460 meters
Polyana 1460 is located on the Aibga ridge at an altitude of +1460 meters from sea level, in the Central Sector of the Krasnaya Polyana resort.
This is the third height of the resort, which can be reached all year round by the gondola cable car "Relict Forest" (K-2) from Polyana 960.
At an altitude of 1460 there are: observation decks and observation points, a cafe, a restaurant, toilets, a medical center.

The eastern sector of the resort
The eastern sector of the Krasnaya Polyana resort is located in the eastern part of the resort.
You can get there from Glade 960 on the gondola cable car "Vostochny les".
During the winter season, this sector is only accessible to people using ski passes. There are ski trails in the sector.
In the summer season The Eastern sector is available to everyone. In summer, as a rule, the Champion Start (K-12) and Polikar Waterfall (K-13) chairlifts operate in the sector.
In summer, hiking trails run along the Eastern Sector, following which you can walk:
- to one of the highest in the territory of Sochi and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in easy access - the Polikar waterfall;

Glade 2200
Polyana 2200 is one of the main heights of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, located at an altitude of +2200 meters above sea level.
You can get to the Glade 2200 all year round on the gondola cable car "Vershina" (K-3) from the Glade 1460 meters.
In the winter season, for people with walking tickets, Glade 2200 is the final and highest point that can be climbed. In the summer season, you can climb higher from Glade 2200.
On the Glade 2200 there is: a panoramic observation deck and observation points, a high-altitude restaurant "Height" with a panoramic terrace, an open fast food area, toilets, a medical center, entertainment Megacachels.

+2050 meters
From the Polyana 2200 in summer, you can walk or ride the Aibga chairlift (K-4) to the mark of 2050 meters.
In winter, the height of +2050 is accessible by ski passes and a red (difficult) track leads from the height to the Eastern sector of the resort.
At the mark of 2050 meters there are: cafes, fast food and toilets; + from the mark, summer hiking routes along the ridge are possible.
At an altitude of +2050 meters there is an equipped tourist tent camp (the Million Stars hotel), which is open to everyone during the summer season.
The infrastructure of the tent camp allows you to accommodate a company with a total number of up to 30-40 people at a time.
On site: 15 tents on wooden platforms with a capacity from 1 to 3 persons, equipped with sleeping bags with liners and mats; additional pad wooden deck for guests with their equipment; an equipped kitchen with heated water boiler and fridge; table games; a wi-fi area; socket 220V; drinking water; well-maintained toilet 150 metres from the camp.
+2350 meters
From the height of + 2050 meters in the summer season, you can walk or ride the Black Pyramid chairlift (K-5) to the level of +2350 meters.
This station is marked as altitude 2375.
In winter, this height is accessible by ski passes and ski trails lead from it.

The top of the Black Pyramid, 2375 meters
The Black Pyramid is a peak located on the Aibga Ridge at an altitude of 2375 meters above sea level, surrounded by mountain passes and other ridges.
This is the highest point of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, which is available only in the summer season.
From the site of 2350 meters to the peak of the Black Pyramid itself, at an altitude of 2375 meters above sea level, you can only climb on foot with a climbing insurance and a helmet, which can be purchased here-on the spot. The cost is 500 rubles; for children from 10 to 14 years-400 rubles, the ascent is only accompanied by adults.
The length of the ascent to the top is 400 meters, the time of the route is 40-50 minutes.
