The quartermaster barracks building was built in Konigsberg (now the city of Kaliningrad) in 1890, along with other defensive structures, including the city gate, to strengthen the defense of Konigsberg during the construction of the Second val fortification of the city.

By the decree of the Government of the Kaliningrad Region dated March 23, 2007, the quartermaster barracks building received the status of a cultural heritage object of regional significance and is an architectural monument of regional significance.
The building of the former barracks is located at Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street, 25. Near the Church of the Holy Family, Yuzhny Park and Yuzhny railway station.
