Independence Gardens, Sliema, Malta

The Independence gardens is a Park and recreation area located near the coastal strip of Sliema on the island of Malta, almost on the border with the neighboring town of St. Julian's.

The length of the Park is about 500 metres along the line of the Mediterranean sea. The Park is located in the Bay of St Julian's and partially captures Exiles Bay, part of greater Bay, St Julian's.

The park has an abundance of greenery, equipped with walking paths, places for recreation, there are children's playgrounds, cafes and a fountain.

Founders of gardens of Independence and about cats did not forget. In the park, for tender quadrupeds there are lodges, bowls for food and water. You can bring food and feed the cats.

Independence Park is not only a great place for walks and family holidays, but also a place of rest near the sea. Below the level of the Park, along the sea, equipped with walking trail, there is a beach area with a railing, for more convenient entry into the sea. The beach is rocky.

Above the line of the Park and the beach strip lies the promenade, there are places to relax, sitting on which you can enjoy views of the large Bay of St. Julian's and part of the coast of the eponymous city of St. Julian's.
