Polyana 2200 is one of the main heights of the year-round mountain resort Krasnaya Polyana (formerly Gorki Gorod) in Krasnaya Polyana (Esto-Sadok).
The altitude is located in the foothills of the Main Caucasian Ridge, at the peak of the northern spur of the Aibga ridge, at 2200 meters above sea level and is one of the most popular points of the resort, both in winter and in summer.
Polyana 2200 is the most visited, accessible all year round and easy to reach high point of the Krasnaya Polyana resort.
You can climb to the Glade 2200 in winter by ski passes and all year round by walking tickets (ascent without skating). The ascent is made on three cableways.
On the Polyana 2200 there is: a panoramic observation deck and observation points, a high-altitude restaurant "Height" with a panoramic terrace, an outdoor fast food area, ski slopes, an instructor service, chair and gondola lifts, toilets, a medical center and some entertainment.
In summer: + gazebo for recreation, hiking trails on mountain trails, paragliding flights are possible.
Trails on the Polyana 2200
Easy (green) and difficult (red) ski trails start from Glade 2200:
- easy track "First Snow", which is also a training slope and leads to the Circus-2 zone, where there are chairlifts, medium-difficulty tracks (blue) and difficult ones.
Under the Circus-2 there is a rollout to the ski area of the Eastern Sector. In the upper part of the Eastern Sector there are complex red tracks, in the lower - green and blue ones that are convenient for training, there are also zones for freeride.
Near the route "The First snow" there is a rope lift "The First snow".
The Aibga chairlift (K-4) runs from the First Snow highway, which takes guests to the Circus-2 sector in 4.5 minutes. Type of lift: 4-seater chairs. The length of the lift is 466 meters. The height difference is 108 meters;
- a complex route "Panorama", which leads from the Circus-1 through the Central sector of skiing and finishes at the mark "Glade 1460".
In the Central Sector, from Glade 1460 to Glade 960, there are zones for freeride and there are tracks of all levels of complexity, including educational (green) and very difficult (black).
The length of the Panorama route is 2541 meters. The height difference is 740 meters.
Panoramic observation deck and observation points
On the Glade 2200 there is the main observation deck of the Krasnaya Polyana resort-a 360° panoramic platform that gives beautiful 360-degree panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains, the village of Krasnaya Polyana and the village of Esto-Sadok, the valley of the Mzymta River, the mountain valley of the Circus-2, the Aibga ridges and mountain peaks of the republics of Adygea and Abkhazia. Part of the site is located directly above the cliff of the mountain. The playground has safe railings - railings.
The panoramic platform is available free of charge and all year round.

Entertainment in the Clearing 2200
At the Polyana 2200 mark, there is the most alpine amusement park Gorky Fly, which includes:
- megachachels or mountain panoramic swings - high-altitude swings located on the edge of the steep cliff of the Aibga ridge - on the edge of the panoramic observation deck.
The swing has a height of 7 meters. This is an all-season attraction above the clouds. The flights on the swing last 3 minutes.
Swinging on a mountain swing, you will "soar" over a picturesque mountain valley and a cliff at an altitude of more than 100 meters and not only experience a feeling of weightlessness, but also be able to enjoy the opening panorama of the Caucasus Mountains.

- suspension bridge over the abyss-a suspension high-altitude bridge that runs near the edge of a picturesque gorge, from the upper station of the K-3 cable car to the restaurant "Height".
The length of the bridge is 100 meters.
Walking on the bridge is carried out in a helmet and with insurance.

- megazipline is a dynamic attraction that runs from one mountain peak of the Aibga ridge to another-over a mountain valley, at a speed of 80 km/h.
The megazipline at the Krasnaya Polyana resort is the highest zipline in Russia. It takes place at an altitude of more than 2200 meters above sea level.
Both single and pair flights are possible.
On the 2200 Glade, next to the panoramic platform, there is the finish line of the Gorky Fly megazipline attraction. The start of the megazipline is located next to the upper station of the Black Pyramid cable car (K-5) at an altitude of 2360 meters from sea level.
Megazipline in the winter season is available to guests by ski passes (you need to purchase a separate ticket for the megazipline at the ticket office at the start), and in the summer - for everyone. Paragliding flights
From the Polyana 2200 mark, paragliding flights are possible in the appropriate (good) weather.
By paragliding, you can go down to the mark "Glade 960".
The pilot-instructor is responsible for the control of the paraglider, who flies with each guest in tandem and monitors the smoothness of the descent or, at the request of the guest, includes acrobatic tricks right in the air.

Hiking trails from the Glade 2200
In the summer season, hiking trails (ecotropes) run from Glade 2200.
From Glade 2200, Trails lead along Circus-1, Circus-2, Circus-3 and lead down to the Central Sector of the resort.
To the right from the upper station of the K-3 lift (along the Circus-1) there is a complex ecotrope (red) "Alpine Meadows". The length of the route is 3000 meters with a height difference of 250 meters. The passage time is 2 hours.
A very complex ecotrope (black) "Panorama"goes down from the K-3 lift. The length of the route is 2400 meters with a height difference of 700 meters. The passage time is 2 hours.
To the left of the site Glade 2200 are several ecotropes from simple in complexity (green) to very complex. The trails turn into one another, so you can combine routes and choose the right one for each guest. After walking along these trails, you can walk to Circus-2 and Circus-3 to an altitude of +2375 meters from sea level: Bear Waterfall, rhododendron Valley, Black Pyramid Peak, Aibga Pass, Sedoy Pass, Iceberg Lake and Kholodnoye Lake.

In the winter season, for guests with walking tickets, the peak "Polyana 2200" is the highest (final) point of a possible ascent in the resort of Krasnaya Polyana.
For guests on ski passes in the winter season, Glade 2200 is not the end point. From Glade 2200, you can take chairlifts to Circus-2 and Circus-3, where there are ski slopes, ski lifts and a snowpark at an altitude of + 2050 meters in Circus-2.
The snowpark is a platform for skiing skiers and snowboarders, equipped with special figures for performing tricks.
The snowpark in the Circus-2 is designed for beginners and advanced riders. It includes several lines for different levels of riding:
- a line for beginners (pussiline): straight slide box 5 m., wide rail 4 m., springboard (roll) span 1-2 m., springboard (roll) span 2-3 m.;
- line for intermediate and advanced riders: quarter pipe, round spine, inclined rail 6 m., double kink rail 8 m., springboard with a span of 5-6 m., rainbow rail 6 m.
The opening hours of the snowpark depend on the operation of the cable cars and the weather. The entrance to the park is free for everyone using ski passes.
In the summer season, the height of "Polyana 2200" is not the end point of the resort for all guests.
With walking tickets, you can ride on the Aibga chairlift (K-4) and the Black Pyramid (K-5), and then walk (with mountaineering insurance, the cost is 500 rubles on the spot) to the top of the Aibga ridge-the Black Pyramid peak, located at 2375 meters above sea level and with stunning views of the Mzymta River valley, the Olympic objects of the mountain cluster, and in clear weather you can see the sea. In the Circus-2 at an altitude of + 2050 meters there is an equipped tourist tent camp (the Million stars hotel), which is open to everyone during the summer season.
The infrastructure of the tent camp allows you to accommodate a company with a total number of up to 30-40 people at a time.
On site: 15 tents on wooden platforms with a capacity from 1 to 3 persons, equipped with sleeping bags with liners and mats; additional pad wooden deck for guests with their equipment; an equipped kitchen with heated water boiler and fridge; table games; a wi-fi area; socket 220V; drinking water; well-maintained toilet 150 metres from the camp.
The cost of a night in a tent camp starts from 1300-1600 rubles per place, depending on the month of the summer season.

How to climb to the "Polyana 2200" mark
You can do this on three gondola cable cars (closed cabins with seats inside, with a capacity of up to 8 people): Krasnaya Polyana K-1, Relict forest K-2 andVertex K-3.
The K-1 cable car starts from the lower station of the cable cars of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, located at the Polyana 540 mark. She lifts the guests to the station"Polyana 960". At the Polyana 960 station, it is necessary to transfer to the K-2 cable car, which will raise to the "1460 meters" mark, where another transfer should be made to the K-3 cable car, which lifts guests to the "Polyana 2200" mark.

If you climb from the Polyana 960 mark, then you should go on two cable cars K-2 and K-3.
