Olympic Park (German title: Olympiapark) - Park complex, which was built for the summer Olympic games of 1972 in Munich.
The Park is located in the district of Milbertshofen-Am HART (Milbertshofen-Am Hart), 5.5 kilometres to the North-West from the city center of Munich - Marienplatz.
Near the Park there are stops of public transport, including metro station of lines U (U-Bahnhof Olympiazentrum), which connects the centre of Munich, including Marienplatz, the Olympic Park. Can also be reached by taxi or rented car.
Olympic Park was built primarily on the site of the old airfield and the place which was used for the removal of remnants of buildings of Munich was destroyed during world war II.

Olympic area

- Olympic ice sports centre (Olympia-Eissportzentrum), which was built as the only pre-Olympic sports facility as an ice rink in 1965 and opened in 1967.

Olympic Park
