Dubai Mall (Arabic name: دبي مول) is a shopping and entertainment center in Dubai, which is one of the largest shopping centers in the world, as well as the most famous and most visited in Dubai.
The Dubai Mall opened on November 4, 2008.
Dubai Mall is located in the heart of Dubai, in Downtown Dubai, next to Burj Khalifa and famous Dubai Dancing Fountain.
On the lake of fountains (Lake Burj), in which the dancing Dubai fountain is located, from the Dubai Mall there are terraces, on which restaurants and cafes are located. There is also a public area, which can be accessed from the Apple Store and from which anyone can see part of the Downtown.
In the Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall has over 1,200 outlets, including two major department stores (Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale's); more than 200 food and drink outlets (restaurants, cafes and a large food court), as well as a wide range of entertainment.
In the mall there are salons, boutiques and shops, ranging from souvenirs to world brands. Here you can find almost everything for every taste and budget: jewelry and decorations, clothes, shoes, accessories, electronics, household and sports goods, perfumes, cosmetics, souvenirs and much more.
Part of the Dubai Mall is the Fashion Avenue, where the world's most refined brands (more than 150) are represented, from flagship stores to exclusive concepts and products. There are also restaurants here.

There are information desks on the territory of the Dubai Mall, there are interactive information boards with a map of the mall, currency exchangers, free Wi-Fi, places to relax, parking and an artificial cascading waterfall with sculptures of diving pearl divers located in the atrium.

Aquarium in Dubai Mall
The centerpiece of the Dubai Mall is the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.
The Dubai Aquarium is home to thousands of aquatic animals, including sharks, piranhas and rays. Its heart is a 48-meter tunnel, providing a 270-degree view of the inhabitants from a depth of 11 meters below the surface of the tank.
Above the aquarium is an underwater zoo with fish, sea and river inhabitants, as well as animals that live on the border of water and land.

Next to the Dubai Mall is Shopping Center Souk Al Bahar, to which the architectural Souk Al Bahar Bridge leads from Dubai Mall, thrown over an artificial lake Burj.
Souq Al Bahar is a "seafarer's market" that combines Arabic classics with modernity, offering shops and restaurants to residents and tourists.
There are more than 100 shops, 22 restaurants, cafes and lounge bars with terraces overlooking the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. Most of the catering outlets are located on the waterfront of Burj Lake.
Souk Al Bahar is also home to Time Out Market Dubai, a culinary hub staffed by 17 local chefs and restaurateurs, selected by the editors of Time Out Dubai as the best in the city.

You can get to the Dubai Mall at taxi, car, public buses or metro.
Metro station "Burj Khalifa/The Dubai Mall". It is most convenient to go from the station along the glass covered air-conditioned passage (Metro Link Bridge), connecting the metro station with the Dubai Mall. Hours of operation for the Metro Link Bridge correspond to those of the mall, 10:00 to 00:00 Monday to Wednesday and 10:00 to 01:00 Thursday to Saturday (hours subject to change).
Two buses run every 16 minutes to Dubai Mall: route 27 from Deira Gold Souk Station and route 29 from Ghubaiba Bus Station. Buses arrive and depart from the tourist drop-off area located in front of the Grand Drive entrance on the ground floor of The Dubai Mall.
