The beach of Lake Sinyavinsky
In addition to the Baltic Sea, there is a small beach on the northwestern outskirts of Yantarny near Lake Yantarny (Sinyavinsky).
The lake is a freshwater reservoir that was formed on the site of the former Walter quarry for the extraction of amber.
The beach is not stretched, but wide. There is sand on the beach, mixed with a small amount of medium-sized pebbles. The water in the pond is clear.
