The ski and biathlon complex "Laura" (SBC Laura) is located at an altitude of 1450-1470 meters above sea level on the plateau of the Psekhako ridge and is part of the Gazprom ski and tourist center "Laura" slope in Krasnaya Polyana (Esto-Sadok).
This is the most famous sports facility of the Gazprom ski Resort.
The height of the complex is not accidental. According to the requirements of the International Ski Federation and the International Biathlon Union, it is 1400-1600 meters above sea level that is the most successful altitude for holding biathlon and cross-country skiing competitions.
In 2014, the Olympic and Paralympic competitions in biathlon and cross-country skiing were held in LBC Laura. The complex is actively operated after the games.
The complex is a modern modification of technicism, which includes both permanent and temporary buildings and structures. The building of the ski and biathlon stadium with stands for spectators is permanent. Temporary-buildings and structures related to the organization and holding of sports events.
Today, the territory of the ski and biathlon complex hosts training camps for athletes of the Russian national teams in cross-country skiing and biathlon, triathlon, cycling, orienteering and other sports.
There is a shooting range on the territory of the complex, 7 kilometers of ski and biathlon trails of various complexity are laid, and anyone can take a walk on cross-country skiing. The tracks for biathlon and cross-country skiing are designed taking into account the requirements of the International Ski Federation (FIS) and the International Biathlon Union (IBU).
You can use the cross-country ski trail with your own equipment, as well as rent it. The service is available at the LBC "Laura" rental point. Cross-country ski trails are also available for buyers of sightseeing tours on the cable cars of the Laura slope resort.

Tourists are particularly attracted by the landscape surrounding the complex - a picturesque area with views of the glaciers and mountains of the Greater Caucasus Range and the forests of the Sochi National Park. In the west, a valley is visible, descending from Krasnaya Polyana to the Black Sea.

From the ski and biathlon complex "Laura" you can take a walk on snowmobiles, ATVs and buggies. For walking, there are several routes that run through the picturesque territory of the resort with viewing platforms (the Aibga ridge, the Achishkho mountain, fir and beech forests).
From the ski and biathlon complex "Laura" in summer and winter, under suitable weather conditions, you can walk to two theme parks - Husky Park and A deer farm.

Practical information
You can get to the ski and biathlon complex "Laura":
- from the lower station of the cable cars "Laura", taking the A/A1 cable car to the shelter station Psehako, then go on foot;
- from the lower station of the cable cars "Laura", first climbing on the A/A1 cable car to the Psekhako shelter, and then changing to the A2 cable car, get off at the intermediate station of the LBC "Laura";
- from the lower station of the Alpika cable cars (next to the Rosa Khutor railway station): first, by taking the A3 cable car to the stationMountain shelter "Pikhtovy", and then changing to the A2 cable car and going down to the intermediate station of the SBC "Laura".
Ascents and descents on cable cars are possible with ski passes and walking tickets.
If you arrive by car, you can leave it in the parking lots of the lower stations of the cable cars "Laura" and "Alpika". There are also parking spaces on the Psekhako plateau of the Laura slope: a small parking lot at the Psekhako shelter and the Laura ski and biathlon complex itself. The A/A1, A2 and A3 cable cars operate all year round.
In winter, there are ski passes from midday and evening to multi-day ones.
