Cable cars A and A1 are two cable cars that are part of the Gazprom slope "Laura" mountain and tourist center in Krasnaya Polyana (Esto-Sadok).
The A/A1 cable cars run parallel to each other and connect the lower station of the cable cars "Laura "with the station "Mountain shelter"Psekhako".
These cable cars are comfortable gondola cabins (closed), with a capacity of up to 6 people.
Both cable cars A and A1 run on the same route and are identical, so there is no difference on which one to go.
They are the first destination for all guests of the ski resort of the Laura slope (if you do not climb Laura by the A3 cable car from the lower Alpika station), whether they are visitors by ski passes or walking tickets.
The lower station of the A/A1 cable cars is located in the valley of the Laura River (a tributary of the Mzymta) at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level.
Near the lower station of the cable car there are: parking, public bus stops, the Galaktika entertainment center, the sovarium and the 5-star Grand Hotel Polyana complex
In the building of the lower station there are: ticket offices and terminals for the sale of ski passes and walking tickets, an information center, luggage storage, rental of ski equipment and sports equipment, a shop, a cafe, toilets and places for recreation.
Ski passes and walking tickets to the Gazprom "Laura" and "Alpika" ski resorts can be purchased at the ticket offices or terminals of the lower station, as well as online in advance on the website. !!! In the terminals, walking tickets and ski passes were cheaper than when purchased at the box office or online (for 2021).
The ascent by cable car takes about 10 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
The A/A1 cable car ends at the Psekhako Mountain Shelter station, located at an altitude of 1440 meters above sea level and is the most popular ski station in Laura.
At the station, you can transfer to the A2 cable car, which goes to the station "Mountain Shelter "Pikhtovy", located at an altitude of 1660 meters above sea level and is the final (highest) cable car of the ski resort of the slope "Laura".
At the Psekhako stationthere are: a cafe, a restaurant, toilets, a medical center, an information center, ski equipment rental, an instructor service, a children's club "Morozko", parks" Zelenaya Polyana "and" Ice Age", a 4-star hotel and spa "Polyana 1389". In winter, it is also: snow tubing, the "Tubing Cross" attraction, the "Snow Factory" excursion, children's slopes and ski slopes: medium difficulty B and D1 (chairlifts), light C1/E1 (rope lifts). The A/A1 cable cars operate all year round.
In winter, there are ski passes from midday and evening to multi-day ones.
