The chapel of San nicolás de Porthope (Capilla de San Nicolas de Portopi), originally dates back to the year 1246 and dedicated to the patron Saint of sailors.
Between 1880 and 1890, the chapel was demolished to expand the quarry and built a new chapel, which was moved to the end of the 20th century to make space for the construction of the shopping centre "Porto PI".
