Head of Franz Kafka in Prague (Hlava Franze Kafky) - rotating sculpture of Kafka's head

Franz Kafka's Head or simply Kafka's Head (Hlava Franze Kafky, Franz Kafka - Otočná hlava) is a large rotating sculpture of Franz Kafka's head in Prague.

The sculpture is also known as the Kafka Statue.

The sculpture is located in the center of Prague, in the area of Nové Město (Nové Město, New Town), between Wenceslas Square (Vaclavske namesti) and the Main Historical Building The National Theater (Narodní divadlo).

Kafka's Head is a modern outdoor sculpture by the Czech sculptor David Cherny, depicting the Bohemian German-speaking writer Franz Kafka.

The sculpture has a height of 11 meters and consists of 42 rotating panels, each layer of which is mechanized and rotates individually, that is, randomly around its own awn, and thereby form a familiar image of Franz Kafka in three-dimensional space.

All this creates a fascinating spectacle and it seems as if someone invisible is playing with Kafka's Head.
