The Golden Horn Bridge or Halic Metro Bridge (Golden Horn Metro Bridge, Turkish name: Haliç Metro Köprüsü) is a bridge across the Golden Horn Bay in Istanbul, located in the city center and connecting the old and new parts of the European side of Istanbul.
The bridge is a railway and pedestrian bridge and is known for its views of the city.
It connects Istanbul's Beyoğlu and Fatih districts, and is located between Galata Bridge and Ataturk Bridge.
The M2 metro line passes over the Halic Bridge, and in the center of the bridge is the metro station of the same name "Haliç". Therefore, this bridge is also called the "metromost".
There are viewing platforms on the Golden Horn Bridge, and pedestrian zones run below the bridge's metro line.
At night, the Halich Bridge is illuminated.
The bridge offers views of the Golden Horn and the European part of Istanbul, including Galata Bridge (Galata Köprüsü), Ataturk Bridge (Atatürk Köprüsü) and Galata Tower (Galata Kulesi Istanbul, now a museum with a 360-degree observation deck).
