The A2 cable car is part of the Gazprom slope "Laura" mountain and tourist center in Krasnaya Polyana (Esto-Sadok).
A2 is the final (highest) cable car of the Laura slope.
The A2 cable car connects the Psekhako Mountain Shelter station, located at an altitude of 1440 meters above sea level, with the Fir Mountain Shelter station, which is the highest point of the Laura slope and is located at an altitude of 1660 meters above sea level.
This cable car is a comfortable gondola cabins (closed), with a capacity of up to 6 people.
You can go up and down the A2 using walking tickets (without skiing) or ski passes.
Near the A2 elevator at the Psekhako Mountain Shelter station there are: a cafe, a restaurant, toilets, a medical center, an information center, ski equipment rental, an instructor service, a children's club "Morozko", parks "Zelenaya Polyana" and "Ice Age", a 4-star hotel and spa "Polyana 1389". In winter, there are also: snow tubing, the Tubing Cross attraction, the Snow Factory animation center, children's slopes and ski slopes: medium difficulty B and D1 (chairlifts), light C1/E1 (rope lifts). At an altitude of 1470 meters above sea level, along the route of the A2 cable car (an intermediate station, if desired, you can get off) is locatedThe Laura Ski and Biathlon Complex, which hosted the Olympic and Paralympic Biathlon and cross-country skiing competitions in 2014,and which is actively operated after the Games.
Today, 7 kilometers of ski and biathlon trails of various complexity are laid on the territory of the ski and biathlon complex, and anyone can take a walk on cross-country skiing.
You can use the cross-country ski trail with your own equipment, as well as rent it. The service is available at the LBC "Laura" rental point. Cross-country ski trails are also available for buyers of sightseeing tours on the cable cars of the Laura slope resort.

From the ski and biathlon complex "Laura" you can take a walk on snowmobiles, ATVs and buggies. For walking, there are several routes that run through the picturesque territory of the resort with viewing platforms (the Aibga ridge, the Achishkho mountain, fir and beech forests). At the upper station "Mountain shelter "Fir" there are: observation points, a restaurant, toilets, an instructor service, a rodelban, a children's ski club "Morozko", a children's training slope and ski slopes: difficult G (chairlift), medium difficulty H (chairlift), easy I (rope lift).
In winter, + a walk on a snowmobile, during which guests will learn and see how the snow-compacting machine works, how the slopes are prepared on the slopes, how the snow is "wrapped" during the journey, etc. The route of the trip is from the mountain shelter Fir to the lower reaches of route H and back.
In summer, tourist trails to the Caucasian Biosphere Reserve begin from the Fir Shelter.
At the shelter Fir station there is an exit to the cable car with closed gondola cabins A3 (3S), which connects the shelter Fir with the lower station of the Alpika slope and is the longest cable car of its kind in the world according to Doppelmayer. Practical information
The A2 cable car is open all year round.
In winter, there are ski passes from midday and evening to multi-day ones.
In winter and summer, you can buy sightseeing tours (walking tickets) on the cable cars " Laura "(A/A1, A2 and A3), "Alpika" (K1-K5) or "Laura + Alpika".
The cost of ski passes and walking tours varies from season to season. You can get to the A2 cable car of the Laura slope:
- after climbing the A/A1 cable car from the lower station of the Laura slope cable car and reaching the Psekhako shelter, transfer to the A2 cable car;
- after climbing the A3 cable car from the lower station of the Alpika slope and reaching the Fir Shelter, transfer to the A2 cable car;
- if by car, you can leave it at the lower station of the cable cars "Laura". There are also parking spaces on the Psekhako plateau: a small parking lot at the shelter itself and at the Laura ski and biathlon complex.
