Waterpark "Wild Wadi" (arabic name: حديقة وايلد وادي المائية) is a large open-air water park in Dubai, with water slides, a wave pool and artificial rivers, which is considered one of the best water parks in the world and one from the iconic water parks of the emirate.
Wild Wadi Water Park is open all year round and is located next to the waters of the Persian Gulf, on private sandy beaches and adjacent to legendary 5-star resorts such as Burj Al Arab , Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Mina A'Salam, Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf and Jumeirah Al Naseem. Hotel guests can enter the water park free of charge. Non-residents can visit the water park for a fee.
The water park is stylized based on the stories about the adventures of Sinbad the sailor, the hero of the national Arabic folklore, and is decorated in the theme of Arabic fairy tales.
Wild Wadi Water Park is suitable for people of all ages and family holidays.
The water park has more than 30 different attractions, including water slides and pools, two rivers, adrenaline high-speed and family descents, a surfing pool, a children's area with water attractions and slides, as well as relaxation and recreation areas.
Thrill-seekers will surely enjoy the slide "Jumeirah Sceirah", the descent from which begins in a capsule from a 32-meter height, while the floor shifts under you, and you fly down a 120-meter slide at a speed of up to 80 kilometers per hour. The level is extreme.
A fast, but less extreme descent for guests was prepared by the Burj Surj attraction, which consists of two large sections of water slides and a bowl. Guests, sitting on a rubber circle, ride down the slope to the bowl, and during the descent they make two spiral rotations, and then finish the descent in the pool.
Similar to the previous Tantrum Alley attraction, three "whirlpools" await visitors, giving the impression that a storm is disturbing the water.
For fans of surfing and bodyboarding in the water park there is a Wipeout simulator, in which a special system throws out more than 7 tons of water per second, simulating real sea waves.
The name of the water park "Wild Wadi" from "Anglo-Arabic", where the English word "Wild" and the Arabic "Wadi" are translated as "Wild bed of a mountain river".
And this name is reflected in the attractions of the water park.
So in the water park there is an artificial river "Flood River" with sudden river rapids and releases of 100,000 liters of water, creating waves more than 1 meter high. The river simulates rafting on mountain rivers.
For a relaxed water holiday, you can swim slowly along the 360-meter "lazy river" with a slow current.
For relaxation, the water park has prepared a large Breaker's Bay pool with artificial waves of various configurations reaching one and a half meters.
There are sun loungers and umbrellas near the pool.
For children, the water park provides a children's water play area "Juha's Dhow and Lagoon" with water attractions, small water slides, climbing structures and a large bucket of water, water from which pours out every 2 minutes, dousing all those who are under the bucket at this time.
Attention! There are height and weight restrictions on some slides.
There are also several retail outlets, restaurants, a pizzeria and a cafe on the territory of the water park. The water park stores sell, among other things, swimsuits, T-shirts, towels, water toys, souvenirs and other goods.
Free unlimited water park access is available to guests at nearby beach resorts: Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Mina A'Salam, Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf and Jumeirah Al Naseem. Free buggies and shuttle services run daily between these beach resorts and the water park. To order a transfer in hotels, you need to contact your concierge, butler or reception.
