Paraggi is a Bay located in Liguria, on the Ligurian coast, between the resorts of Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino.
Paraggi is famous for its homonymous beach of Paraggi (Spiaggia di Paraggi), which is a tourist attraction, famous for crystal clear sea water.
Paraggi beach is the only sandy beach near Portofino. Most of the beaches in the area are rocky, and Portofino itself has no good beaches, only a beautiful Harbor.

This is a small beach, is an open Bay on both sides framed by hills. On the beach Paraji sand, sometimes mixed with pebbles. The sea water is clean and clear.
Paraggi is a public beach, but at it there are also private beach clubs, as well as at many other beaches of Riviera, offering a full range of beach services. The cost of a sunbed and umbrella from the sun is about € 25, for two sunbeds and umbrella € 30.
Above the line of the beach of Paraggi is a pedestrian zone and road. There is a cafe, bar and restaurant.
South along the coast, in the direction of Portofino, near the beach Paraggi there is another public tiny sandy-pebble beach-bay with clear sea and a gentle entry into the water. There is a sports club on the beach.
Above the beach Paraggi, Portofino natural Park, is one of the attractions of the area - the Hermitage Niasca (L'eremo di Niasca), which is a monumental complex built in the early 19th century on the ruins of a medieval Hermitage dedicated to Saint Anthony, and inhabited by monks-hermits in the 14th century.
Later, the Hermitage was given to private individuals who turned it into the mill. The ruins of the building was partially restored Park. Niasca valley owes its name to the viscous inule, medicinal plant, once replaced tobacco.

How to get to the beach of Paraggi
Paradji Beach is located one and a half kilometers north along the coast from Portofino, so you can get to it just like Portofino itself:
- by taxi;
- the car;
- on foot, moving along the coast, or by bus from Santa Margherita Ligure.
