The Kavkazskiy express cable car is part of the year-round mountain resort Rosa Khutor in Krasnaya Polyana (Esto-Sadok).
The Caucasian Express is the third and last lift on the way to Rosa Peak. This cable car consists of comfortable gondola cabins (closed cabins with seats inside), with a capacity of up to 8 people.
You can go up and down on the Kavkazskiy express lift using walking tickets (without skating) or ski passes.
The ascent and descent on the Kavkazskiy express takes place at a sharper angle than on other cable cars of the Rosa Khutor resort. During the ascent, from the cab of the cable car, you can enjoy picturesque breathtaking views of the dense vegetation of the ridge and mountain peaks.

While driving, the Kavkazskiy express cable car passes the Rosa-1600 landing station, located at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level.
Landing on the Rosa-1600 is possible only when climbing up. When descending, there is no landing-the elevator cabins go directly to the Arbor station.
You can get off at the transfer station. There are: observation points, places for walking and recreation, ski slopes and lifts, an instructor service, a first aid station, a restaurant and toilets.
In summer, hiking trails along the ridge run from the podsadki station.
A chairlift "Quartet" runs from the podsadka station "Rosa-1600", which connects the station with the "Besedka" station.
At the "Rosa-1600" is the lower part of the high-speed chairlift "Fairy Tale".
A gondola cable car "Strela" runs to the station "Rosa-1600" from the lower station of the Rosa Khutor cable cars, located in the Rosa Valley, which is accessible to guests by ski passes in the winter season.
From the station" Rosa-1600 " and near it there are ski trails of several levels of difficulty, from the green (easy trails) up to black (very difficult tracks).
Every year, somewhere in late March-early April, a large-scale spring camp Quiksilver New Star Camp is held at the Rosa Khutor mountain resort. Especially for the camp at the Rosa-1600 mark, a large snowpark is being built with a lot of figures arranged in several lines, starting from the simplest, where beginners can try themselves in freestyle, and ending with a pro-line and a giant springboard for competitions and filming professional athletes. The length of the route is 725 meters; the height difference is 50 meters.
The snowpark can be opened as early as February.
