How to get to the ski resorts of Krasnaya Polyana (Esto-Sadka): Rosa Khutor, Krasnaya Polyana, Gazprom "Laura" and "Alpika"

Krasnaya Polyana (Esto-Sadok) is a popular center of skiing and snowboarding, which has a reputation as the most "respectable" in Russia.

In order to understand how best and most convenient to get to Krasnaya Polyana (Estosadok), you need to understand that Krasnaya Polyana and Esto-Sadok (or Estosadok) are two different localities that border each other and are part of the municipal formation of the resort city of Sochi.

If the purpose of your visit is to visit ski resorts, whether for skiing or just for a walk, then you need to go to Esto-Sadok, which also contains all the tourist amenities: a chic embankment, shops and entertainment and shopping centers, water parks and ice rinks, museums and casinos, hotels and an abundance of cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is in the Estosadka that the lower stations of all ski resorts are located, of which there are only three: Rosa Khutor, Krasnaya Polyana (also known as Gorki Gorod or Mountain Carousel) and Gazmprom, which has two ski areas - "Laura" and "Alpika". The lower stations of the cable cars of the resorts are located near each other - walking distance. There are no ski resorts in the village of Krasnaya Polyana!

For convenience, it is better to stay in the Estosadka. There are hotels in the territories of each ski resort.

In Krasnaya Polyana, accommodation facilities are usually more budget-friendly, but you will have to get to the ski resorts by public transport or taxi. Some hotels organize a daily free shuttle service for their guests in the morning (there) and in the evening (back), for example, these are such hotels as: 3-star hotel Olympia and Hotel Toucan.

How to get to Krasnaya Polyana and Esto-Sadok (to the ski resorts)

The nearest airport is located in the city of Sochi (Adler), 43 kilometers from the Estosadka.

Sochi Airport is an international airport that accepts and sends flights both within Russia and abroad. Direct flights to Sochi Airport fly from: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaluga, Krasnoyarsk, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Arkhangelsk, Orenburg, etc.

The fastest and most convenient way to get from Sochi airport to the Esto-Sadka ski resorts is by taxi. You can order a taxi / transfer in advance, even from home. At any time of the day, at the airport, a driver will be waiting for you with a sign where your first and last name will be written. To order a taxi, it is enough to provide your flight data.

If you plan to move around the Estosadok, Krasnaya Polyana and the surrounding area by car, then the ideal option would be to rent a car at the airport.

You can choose and order a car in advance, at the appointed time your car will be waiting for you near the airport.

In order to quickly get to Esto-Sadka and Krasnaya Polyana by car from Sochi, you need to turn onto the Reserve of Kurortny Prospekt (A-148) and go to Adler. There are 2 roads leading from Adler to Krasnaya Polyana: the Old Krasnopolyanskoe Highway and the New Krasnopolyanskoe Highway. The first road leads past the airport through all the foothill villages. The second highway was built for the 2014 Olympics. A new road with good asphalt runs near the airport and bypasses the villages, so it is a priority. Travel time is 1 hour.

The buses

From Sochi, Khosta, Kudepsta, Adler, airport

Bus № 105. It starts from the MoreMall shopping center in Sochi; passes near the Sochi market and the Sochi railway station; stops in Khost, Kudepst and Adler, including stops at the Adler railway station and the airport. He also comes to Krasnaya Polyana.

Bus № 105C (fast) goes from Sochi in the same way as route 105, only it makes fewer stops - it does not stop at Khosta and Kudepsta. He drives into Krasnaya Polyana.

Bus № 105Э. It starts from the Sochi railway station; does not stop at Khosta and Kudepsta; stops near the Adler railway station; does not stop at the airport and Krasnaya Polyana.

From the Adler Olympic Park and the airport

Bus № 135 from Adler (Olympic Park, Sochi Park, airport). He drives into Krasnaya Polyana.

Bus № 135Э leaves the State Farm "Russia"; passes the Imereti resort, including the Olympic Park and Sochi Park; but follows a detour to the center of Adler and the airport. Does not enter Krasnaya Polyana.

!!! The travel time from Adler is from one and a half to 2 hours. The travel time from Sochi is from 2 to 3 hours.

The fare from Adler is from 178 rubles and from 232 rubles from Sochi. Payment of the driver's fare at the entrance.

From Krasnaya Polyana

Bus № 163. Passes the stop "Heliport" and goes through the center of the village of Estosadok, including stops near the railway stations Esto-Sadok and Rosa Khutor.

The journey time is about 37 minutes. The fare starts from 28 rubles.

Where to get out

Each of the above buses makes several stops in the Estosadka:

- if you need to go to the mountain resort of Krasnaya Polyana, then you should get off at the stop "Mountain Carousel";

- if on the slope of Laura (Gazprom), then at the stop "GC Laura";

- if on the slope of Alpika (Gazprom), then at the stop "Rosa Khutor railway station";

- if you go to the Rosa Khutor resort, then at the stop "GLK Rosa Khutor".

In Krasnaya Polyana, buses stop at the following stops: Chapel, Heliport, t / b Mountain Air and Peak Hotel. The most popular stop is "Heliport", located on the street of Defenders of the Caucasus. The stop "Heliport" in the direction of the Estosadka is located directly near the fence of the heliport. The Heliport stop in the direction of Adler and Sochi is located on the opposite side-across the road from the heliport.

Free shuttles from each ski resort run through the territory of Krasnaya Polyana and Esto-Sadka, both for everyone, and separate shuttles for ski pass holders and (or) guests living directly at the resorts.

Train and Swallow stops in Estosadka

There are two railway stations in Krasnaya Polyana,Estosadka : "Esto-Sadok" and "Rosa Khutor".

If you are going to Esto-Sadok and to the ski resorts, then you need to get off at the Rosa Khutor station (terminal). If you live directly in the village of Krasnaya Polyana, then get off closer at the station "Esto-Sadok", and from there take buses or taxis to get to the village itself.

How to get to the ski resorts from the Rosa Khutor railway station

From the Rosa Khutor station to the lower stations of all ski resorts, you can walk or take buses (all buses and the website are listed above), as well as taxis.

We leave the station building at the eastern exit.

A free shuttle bus runs from the platform near the station building all year round, which takes everyone to the concert hall "Rosa Hall". From Rosa Hall to the lower station of the ropeway "Rosa Khutor" 400 meters-you should go along the embankment of the Mzymta River in the opposite (south-west) direction.

If you walk from the Rosa Khutor railway station, then you need to follow forward (in an easterly direction) along the embankment of the Mzymta River. The distance is about 1.9 kilometers.

To the slopes of Gazprom "Alpika" and "Laura".

The Alpika slope is the closest to the railway station.

You need to leave the station building at the eastern exit and just go a little ahead.

To get to the Laura slope, you need to go to the eastern exit of the station, walk to the Alpika slope, cross the covered pedestrian bridge, turn left and walk 15-20 minutes along the embankments of the Mzymta and then Laura rivers to the lower station of the Laura cable car (Galaktika entertainment center).

To the resort of Krasnaya Polyana (Gorki Gorod, Mountain carousel).

Exit the station building at the western exit and go in the opposite direction, first along Olympic Records Street (we do not cross the road); then cross the road along the A-148 highway (on the ring) and move along it (without turning anywhere) to the lower station of the resort.

The distance is about 1.4 kilometers.
