The Church of the Holy Trinity (Dreifaltigkeitskirche) in Munich was built in the late Baroque style from 1711 to 1718, according to the plans of the Swiss architect Giovanni Antonio Viscardi.
This is the only Church in the old town of Munich, which was not destroyed by bombing during the Second world war.
The Church has a Central dome complex and South facade, projecting beyond the neighbouring buildings on the street Pacellistrasse.
The main portal of the Shrine dedicated columns and Baroque cornices.
Inside the Church there are important works ofGerman architect and painter Kosmas Damian Azam - painted ceiling in the dome; the Italian-Austrian artist Joseph Ruffini; sculptor Andreas Faistenberger; German Rococo sculptor Johann Baptist Straub and Johann Georg Baader.
