Travel time on public buses is on average from 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes. Travel time can increase significantly if you get into a traffic jam.

If you need to get to Peterhof (the Grand Palace with parks), then it is better to get off at the Pravlenskaya and Razvodnaya stops (Fountains).

Peterhof, Strelna and Lomonosov can be reached by train from the Baltic Railway Station in St. Petersburg.

Pleasure boats "Meteor"

On the Meteor pleasure boats, you can get from the center of St. Petersburg only to Peterhof - to the Lower Park of the Grand Peterhof Palace. Since the entrance to the park (in the summer, when the fountains work) is paid, if you come by boat, you must separately purchase a ticket to the Lower Park. Tickets to the lower Park can be purchased on site at the ticket offices near the park pier or in advance online on the website of the State Museum-Reserve "Peterhof": peterhofmuseum.

The Meteor pleasure boats depart from the piers in the center of St. Petersburg: Dvortsovaya Pier (near the Hermitage, Dvortsovaya Embankment) and Senatskaya Pier (near the Bronze Horseman, Admiralteiskaya Embankment). There are more motor ships from the Hermitage.

Meteors run in the summer season. They leave every 30 minutes. Travel time is 30-40 minutes.
