Otradnoe is a resort village located on the shore of the Baltic Sea and part of the Svetlogorsk urban settlement.
The beach in Otradnoe is a narrow strip running along the village and located under the slope of a hill, while the main infrastructure of the settlement is located on the hill.
The hill offers panoramic views of the Baltic Sea and the beach.
On the beach there is medium-sized sand of light color, there are pebbles and debris of natural origin (branches, algae).
The entrance to the sea is quite flat. In places there are old wooden breakwaters in the water.
The infrastructure on the beach is minimal: changing cabins, toilet, beach cafe.
How to get to the beach in Otradnoye
There is only one road leading to the beach - the Exit to the sea, which runs along The Gauzup gorge.
On the way you can go down both on foot and by car. At the very end of the road, near the beach, there are places where you can park a car.
On foot from the center of Otradnoye to the sea, you can go down the paths that run along the hillside.
From the center of Svetlogorsk you can get:
- by public buses No. 1 to the Otradnoye stop. One of the stops in Svetlogorsk is located next to the railway station Svetlogorsk-2;
- on foot, a distance of 2 kilometers. The path from Svetlogorsk to Otradnoye runs along the carriageway along the pedestrian sidewalk.
From the center of Svetlogorsk, you need to go to Kaliningrad Avenue and walk along the street, without turning anywhere, in the direction of Otradnoye (west direction), to the intersection with Tokarev Street, then along Tokarev Street to the Exit to the sea.
