Beach de la Romana (Playa de la Romana / Platja de la Romana), also known as Peguera Romana beach or beach dels Muertos (Playa Peguera Romana / Platja Peguera Romana or Platja dels Morts) - one of the beaches of the resort town of Peguera (Paguera), located in the municipality of Calvia in the southwestern part of Mallorca, 23 kilometers from the center of the island's capital, Palma.
The beach of La Romana is the smallest of the three beaches Peery, the other two: de Tora beach (Playa de Tora) and the Palmira beach (Playa de Palmira). The beach is located in the southeastern part of the coast of Paguera, in the Gulf, where the anchoring of small yachts and boats.
On both sides the beach is surrounded by rocky ridges, where the coast and in sea water there are rocky formations and stones.
The length of the Playa de La Romana is 300 meters and its average width is about 60 meters.
On the beach of fine pale sand. Sea water is clean, the bottom is mostly sandy, slope in a shallow sea depth is gradual. Marine waters are characterized by shallow water that is well suited for families with young children.
In the high beach season on the beach has all the necessary infrastructure: sunbeds and sun umbrellas (beach chair or umbrella 4,50 Euro), urns and shower, toilets (EUR 0.50), a dedicated place for water activities, a service monitoring and first aid.
