Agios Tychonas (the Greek word Άγιος Τύχωνας) is an independent municipality (a small town), located in the district of Limassol and functioning as an Eastern suburb of Limassol.
Is Agios Tychonas between municipalities Mouttagiakia - on the West side of the coast and Parekklisia in the East, also within the district of Limassol and a member of the Eastern suburbs based in the city of Limassol.
Currently, Agios Tychonas is the most popular and picturesque beach location in Limassol, already turned into a famous area of the resort of Limassol.
Firstly, the municipality has a developed tourist infrastructure, there is an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants, night clubs and shops, as well as a wide choice of accommodation facilities ranging from apartments (private full apartments), to luxury 5-star hotels located near the beach and has green areas with direct access to the beach.
Secondly, Agios Tychonas has the longest coastline in the district of Limassol. The coastline consisting of beaches, where one beach blends in with the other, has a length of 4,5 kilometers.

The Beaches Of Agios Tychonas, Limassol
Along the coast of Agios Tychonas there are beaches, many of which are among the best not only in Limassol, but in Cyprus.
In the municipality there are seven beaches, a string of successive and smoothly flowing one into another.
All beaches are municipal (public) are awarded with "Blue flag" - a sign of cleanliness and quality of beaches and seawater.

In the sea equipped with breakwaters protecting the beaches from big waves. However, still there are waves, especially in the second half of the day. The beaches are famous for their waters that lead into rather abruptly.
The beaches are mostly gray sand, sometimes mixed with small pebbles. Sometimes, there are stones.

Directly at the beach Onisilos, along the beach trail is a 4-star Poseidonia Beach with direct beach access, landscaped garden, adjacent to the beach, a beachfront café-bar, swimming pool, sauna and Spa.

From the centre of Limassol

You can get on 30 bus linking the shopping center MY MALL Limassol with the municipality of Pyrgos. This bus line is one of the most convenient and popular routes among tourists in Limassol. The fare is € 1.50. A day ticket is 5 Euro.
There are also bus No. 33, 80, 95, 95A.
Bus number 25 runs from the centre of Limassol to the Western edge of the beach Woppa, then the bus goes to the center of the municipality of Agios Tychonas, located above the sea line and going inland a little.
